I am thoroughly impressed with this bed frame. The whole thing came packed inside the headboard in a zippered compartment. (Bonus hidden storage if you need somewhere to stash something).Everything in the package was very well organized. They even had a section on the hardware labelled "extra parts" but I didn't need them as they had exactly the right amount. The instructions were well written and easy to follow. They even included a ratcheting Allen wrench! The lifting action with the gas shocks works great too. It's super nice to be able to store stuff under the mattress, and a lot more stuff fits with this style as opposed to drawers, and honestly it works better anyways, since you can put the bed against a wall and still open it.The frame and headboard are on the short side, which doesn't bother us, but some people may not like. Especially without a box spring, which you can't use with this frame even if you wanted. We prefer mattresses without box springs anyways, so that isn't a negative in my mind.The only gripe that I have with the frame is the design of the handle to lift the bed up and down. The way it's mounted, it can move a little so it feels like the handle is loose when it isn't. It doesn't affect the function at all, it's just annoying.I wish they would make this same style in king as well, and I would buy it in a heartbeat.

I've just assembled the bed. It's very sturdy, the boards and metal railing are well made and fit together perfectly. Assembly took about 3 hours, one person, and I'm not a professional, so to me it's a reasonable amount of effort.

This cannot lift a purple 4 mattress(168lbs), I would not have ordered but the manufacturers support team told me it would be able too. I have reached out to them to see if they have any options.The frame is great, pretty easy to assemble like all their other products. Very good quality. Very sturdy and strong, no noise. The storage space is even more than I expected, it’s really amazing that way. Head board is a little short with the deep mattress but I knew it would be before purchase.If I can get more info from the manufacturer I’m looking into getting stronger lifts on my own as well. Will report back if I find a way to make the bed actually lift with the mattress on it.

We moved to smaller home and needed extra storage everywhere. The headboard & under bed storage is a plus. Very nice.

Everything comes well packed in the headboard. All the screws are the same size, except 3 that mount to the center frame. Super easy assembly, with good instructions. Two of us assembled in 1 hour. Lift works great. I would definitely buy this again

The hydraulics were stuck, non-functional. I called Amazon and they said New ones would be sent. When I had not gotten them weeks later, I called again. Apparently there was no record of my initial report. So we went through the process to report to get new hydraulics, this time involving the manufacturer. The manufacture ZINUS has been difficult, sending me multiple emails confirming information, daily emails, asking me to resubmit photos, how I’m related to my husband, sending me one Sunday morning wanting my phone number- which I didn’t immediately respond to because I didn’t see it- and when I opened email on Monday, has a second one saying “reply within 48 hours if you want to continue with your request”. I called again to Amazon to complain. All I want is defective hydraulic parts replaced by ZINUS. The bed is fine, sturdy, looks great, but the selling feature was the hydraulic lift. Good grief. I hope this new set (assuming I get them ever) works because who knows what info I’ll have to fill out if they don’t.

Perfect bed frame for my small house. Makes it so much easier to store things and access them. And I love that the bed frame is metal instead of bamboo slats that the bed sits on. So sturdy.
