Yes, however they are so small that not much light comes through. I did try something similar.

Can i used this as an inlay in a wooden bowl? would caste it in a recess with clear acrylic or thick ca glue. than machine it flush.

I would certainly think so. These are not polished and so may need to be sealed before placing and pouring epoxy. Machining them flush and finishing would look great!

Genuine amber would work great in that application. This, however, is plastic.

Extremely small, Mine were 2 mm at the very most. I had to give them away.
