Stays with me
When I play with a pick, there's picks flying everywhere. My son suggested superglue but fortunately I found these. To my way of thinking, these are reasonably priced. But they stay on my thumb. I use them like a regular flat pick without my episodes of giving flight to my large can of picks. The quality shows no rapid disintegration, so I believe they hold up well. I'm on my second purchase of because I lose them and give them away. There are some excellent spring loaded picks out there, however cost is always a factor.. But I'll buy that third bag when I need more

Softer than other picks
I have used both Ultex and Celluloid thumb picks in the past and I find the material in this pick to feel much softer. That, combined with the slightly rounded edge makes for a much more natural feel when picking. So, for me this pick offers the best of both worlds: natural feel plus enhanced articulation of the lower base strings.

Good Pick
I was replacing some I had earlier. I like the size and sound. I use on a five string banjo.

Comfortable!
I like Fred Kelly's picks. So far I've tried these and the Bumblebee Heavies. I think I like the Bumblebees more because I like to alternate between flatpicking/ fingerstyle. But these are nice if you want a pick that is comfortable and has a mellower tone. These are made of Delrin, so not as bright as the polycarbonate varieties. Great picks!

Overall a good pick, no pun intended
I like that it is heavy, but someway/how it doesn’t sound as good as the orange colored ones

Finally. A thumb pick where the actually pick end isn’t so long!
Place it in hot water for to mold it around your thumb then run it under cool water to set it - The large size of these are great but then the actual pick length gets longer … Worst case you can always just file the pick shorter if you like - I love Fred Kelly thumb picks.
