Delicious but definitely has a bite to it

It’s a little different from the non organic version but still good. It doesn’t seem the same as quite a few years back. I tend to add plain chili powder, paprika, cumin, and some other bits of seasoning with it but it’s a good seasoning and since I use a lot of seasoning, it shortens the seasoning job . It’s something I repurchase right along so it’s pretty obvious I like it well.

I love chili, but I don’t love all the extra additives that come with most chili seasonings. I found Frontier Co-op Organic Chili Powder, and it’s been a game-changer! While I do wish it didn’t include rice concentrate, the flavor more than makes up for it. It’s mild to moderately spicy with a sweet, tangy depth that really elevates a pot of chili. I especially appreciate that it has no added salt—this lets me control the seasoning and build a rich, deep chili flavor, adding just a touch of salt to taste. This has quickly become our go-to seasoning whenever chili weather rolls around. Highly recommend if you want a clean, flavorful blend without unnecessary extras!

This stuff is great- used it in a soup the same day it arrived. Minus 1 star because the packaging would be so much better if it was resealable.

Best chili powder, ever. Super fresh, vibrant, best I’ve ever found! If you haven’t tried GOOD chili powder, try this! It will make you throw stones at the awful stuff in the little hyper expensive store bottles. Makes any dish come alive, like you just picked the spices yourself.

A very good chili powder blend. Fresh and strong, not too hot. Another plus is that this is pure 100% spice. Nearly all chili powders now contain salt, which is added to increase the product’s weight, and who needs more salt nowadays?! I purchase 1# at a time and store it it the freezer in glass jars. Will buy again when I run out.👍
