First, let me say that I am a big guy (6 Ft., 280 lbs) and I normally wear a 3X. I bought this one size up because of another review and it fits great. I have never owned one of these types of shirts and so have no other brand to compare it to. However, if it fits, does what it says it will do, and is cost-effective then it is a great value. This shirt matches all three of those criteria.I bought this shirt to take to a youth camp in Florida where we spend most of our days outside either doing sports, swimming, or other outdoor activity. The idea of not having to stop every 30 minutes and reapply sunblock only to seat it off almost instantly was appealing so I went for it.The shirt was delivered in a timely fashion and immediately I was struck with the quality of the material. The seams are sewn to lie flat and provide the utmost comfort. The fit was as expected and the color scheme was exactly as depicted on the site. getting straight to the point, however, I wore the shirt for the duration of the camp in the scorching Florida sun and it did not fail. I did not once get burned or have to feel the stinging pain of sunblock-laden sweat dripping into my eyes.The only thing that was even remotely disappointing was the pocket. The zipper worked well and the pocket is definitely roomy enough. However, if you put anything in it that has any weight at all the pocket hangs down below the bottom hem of the shirt. I put a couple of dollars and about $1.25 in change in there and it just hung a little bit below the hem, which did not hinder performance, but certainly was no longer hidden. It's not a big deal, but the manufacturer would have done better to tack the pocket to the shirt all the way around.At a price that is far more reasonable than many brands available, the is a performance shirt that works well at a bargain price. just buy it!

Very smooth light weight and breathable material

Way cheaper than the big brands out there. Great material. Hood works great. Keeps the sun off just like it should. Will definitely buy more when fishing season starts

Used for a full day of deep sea fishing....Hood was a bonus keeping the sun beating off my neck....

I mow two yards. One is over an acre with trees, bushes and whatever dotted around the property. The other is four acres and it has even more trees and bushes. . This shirt has protected me from the sun, branches and thorns. I wear the hood up when I'm mowing in the sun and it helps to protect me and keep me cool despite 80-90 degree temperatures. I would buy this again. My neighbors have admired it.

Use a lighter color if you get hot in the sun. Fits great. Covers all the skin well. Breathes great. Wicks moisture away.

My son wears it fishing. Great breath ability, sun protection and has pockets for a safe spot for his phone. He wears the hood up for more protection.

Fresca, comoda, protege muy bien del sol

It is everything it says it is and fits true to size. I purchased one for my husband for fishing and he loves it, so I grabbed another! It's great for people who run hot and don't like thick clothing but want to stay warm. It looks great on and can be warm as a layer or stand alone. It's not even just for fishing anymore!

Je cherchais quelque chose de similaire depuis très longtemps sans pour autant le trouvercet article taille parfaitement, je précise que je taille du L mais que pour ce genre d'article il m'est arrivé d'essayer du 3 ou 4 XL sans que la taille soit correcte.Dommage que ce soit uniquement vendu comme une chemise de pêche, je suis tombé dessus par hasard cela pourrait peut-être se trouver également dans les rubriques snorkeling et plongée.Parfait pour les longues sorties en bateaux et pour les randonnées palmée évite les gros coups de soleil sur les parties les plus exposées comme la tête et la nuque.
