ElloOgden Ceramic Travel Mug with Friction-Fit Lid

The best travel cup I've ever had, simply great and very pretty! Keeps drinks hot for ages.

I bought this cup to use at work at my desk and it is perfect for that. It is stylish, chic and keeps my tea hot for ages which is exactly what I'm looking for. It's not the lightest cup with or without tea, but I knew it wouldn't be because A) it's big (I like big cups of tea) and B) it's ceramic! I love it - well worth the money :-)

This is amazingly beautiful, certainly the best looking travel mug out there. The lid clips in and out easily and seems a good snug fit. Splashproof certainly, although I would not roll the mug to its side.Only four stars as the ceramic is not high quality at all, there a lots of little specks in the glazing and the top lip is uneven. Shame, for something so beautifully designed, the quality of the materials should match. I'd pay more for a better quality ceramic insert.Many many years later: post Covid, I found this again in the office kitchen, and put it back in use. The rubber sleeve went sticky, and I feared the worst, but a tumble through the dishwasher made it come up as new. The ceramic has a crack now, but still works! So STILL the best travel mug ever. Holds 2 standard mugs of office Latte. Yum!

Good: looks, feel, great quality & doesn’t affect drink taste . Bad; heavy to hold, not a great hole/lip for drinking and coffee goes too cold within 10 mins. I’m returning because of fast loss of temperature

Heavy and doesn't keep coffee hot. Wanted to return, but I would have to pay to send back to seller.... in USA! So not worth the cost

I love this travel mug. It’s sturdy, sleeve keeps drink hot and hands cool. The mouth piece is a bit wide so drink slowly but other than that it’s a great travel mug. It also looks lovely.

This mug is just about perfect. Ya it’s not leak-proof with only a pressure-fit lid, but I didn’t expect it to be so that part doesn’t bother me. The lid doesn’t dribble when I drink and that’s the only leaking that would bother me. I got this mug to use in the house as I have mobility issues and cannot easily get up to refresh or heat my tea, but I still wanted a ceramic mug to preserve the fresh taste (versus the metal travel mug I had been using). This mug is the perfect size and shape and keeps my tea quite warm even in the basement office, which is usually a chilly 17°C. It’s a solid/heavy build, is very easy to clean, and the silicone sleeve keeps the exterior comfortable to hold even with very hot liquid in the cup. I’m very happy with this purchase!

I’m giving a 5 star because I knew exactly what I was purchasing after researching for a new portable mug; That’s what this is: a mug that can be taken out of the home and helps keep liquid contained. It is not a thermos, so it will not keep the liquid hot for longer than 30 minutes and you cannot flip it upside down because the liquid will spill. You must heat the ceramic before you poor hot liquid to keep it heated for longer. The silicone feels comfortable to the hand and it makes for a great coaster. Because I like to sip water at night, I can use this without waking up my spouse since it will not make a clink sound on the table (huge point earner). The lid is easy to clean: it has a removable silicone ring and the sip door is also removable as is the sleeve (but I do not remove it often for a fear of stretching it out). The ceramic lip shape is comfortable. We both have one and we use it for cold liquids too. It must be held upright while traveling because again, it is not spillproof. It’s simply meant to be a mug with a lid that HELPS to contain the liquid- I can’t stress this enough. I’ve been using this for over a month. It’s easy to hold and it fits in my cars cup holder perfectly. I purchased this in gray color. One of the mugs came defective and the lid was not resting on the groove as it was made to so I exhanged it and the replacement arrived perfect. I love this Ello mug design!

Great mug, very handy, not leak proof, but pretty good. I dropped it and it broke to pieces, will be ordering a new one. Recommend. Keeps your tea coffee hot longer. I love that it is ceramic, can’t stand the taste from a metallic mug. It also looks stylish.

I love this cup. It looks good and it feels good (ceramic = nice clean taste, the weight is nice, the grip feels secure and squishy). Which just makes for a nice experience! It has helped me make a habit of avoiding buying drinks in disposable cups. I regularly get compliments from baristas on it, which is a nice ego boost for some reason, lol. And because it's so pretty, I'm extra extra careful with it - even though it doesn't actually seem fragile.It's true that it doesn't maintain the temperature of your drink very well, but personally that's not an issue for me. The lid is pretty secure. It doesn't splash or leak at all while I'm walking 2-3 blocks from the nearby coffeehouse or when it's in the car.It's also very easy to clean. I've had this for a year and there have never been any stains or build up of gunk anywhere. It doesn't take any extra effort to clean off even when liquid gets between the cup and the sleeve and sits for a while. I only wish it came in a bigger size!
