Perfect fit for slender feet
Beautiful clog!!The green has some grey but it’s still a beautiful soft green and the fit is perfect for those with slender medium feet! I will say however that the strap does fit tight at the heel - I think I could punch another hole and it’ll be fine.

Love, love, love these
I have only been wearing these clogs for a little over a week, but I adore them. The "clunky" factor of the wooden soles in some hallways takes some getting used to, but they are supremely comfortable (even after a day of walking), the rubber tread makes them quite stable, and of course, they are adorable and go with almost anything.I will admit though, I ordered these clogs with a bit of trepidation...all the reviews I read said they ran a full size small, and as someone who varies between the 8-8.5 range for shoes, I was a little concerned the 8 that I ordered would not fit. However, I think the "running small" reviews need some clarification. IF you buy these clogs and immediately try to stuff a sock-wearing foot into them, you are right...they probably will seem very small. BUT these are wooden-soled, leather clogs. The leather will stretch to your foot, and allow your foot to slide all the way into the toe-box. When my clogs arrived, I put them on with bare feet, and simply walked around the house with them like that for a few hours. Yes, they were a little tight at first, but even in 3-4 hours, the leather had loosened. By the next day, I could comfortably wear them with woolen tights, and by the third day, a pair of Smartwool socks.I should also note that my "size 8" clogs have the European 38 carved into the sole...as someone who also wears Danskos, that is indeed the size I buy.

Stylish Clogs Almost Perfect
These clogs tend to be a little on the small side, but not by much. If you are used to wearing thick socks with clogs then order one size up, but if you plan to wear normal socks, or no socks at all, then stick to your usual size: I bought my usual size and I am glad I did so. I find the look of these clogs fantastic - the little strap can also be rotated to go around the heel so the clog feels more like a shoe and particularly comfortable to walk. The leather is very soft and overall these clogs are very comfortable. I do not give 5 stars because the wood is not as smooth as it could be: it almost looks as if they forgot to do the last round of sanding.

Way too small but a nice look
I purchased a size 10 in these clogs since I am a firm size 9 shoe wearer. My foot is medium to narrow width with a low arch. When I tried them on I had to doublecheck the size inside the shoe because my heel was hanging out of the back a couple of millimeters. The sizing is extremely small. Unfortunately they don’t offer a larger size than this which seems to be a huge miss since I have a fairly average sized foot. It’s a shame because these are really cute. The leather is a great shade of brown that’s hard to find.Based on how these felt on, I can say that they aren’t terribly supportive or comfortable. This is mainly because there is a ridge along the interior sole of the shoe that rubs against your toes, plus the leather and the sole is very rigid as you might expect. In spite of that, they look great. A bonus is that the heel strap is functional—a nice feature if you’re trying to get a custom fit.I bought these because I like the look and don’t plan to walk miles in them. If you’re of a similar mindset and want to give these a try, consider sizing up at least one, maybe two sizes depending if you’re intending to wear a sock.

The Perfect Pair of Clogs
I have a wide foot and a moderately high instep. Neither are outrageously exaggerated, but enough so that it can sometimes make the difference between my having to go up a size (sometime 2, depending on the brand and style of the shoe) and often I can't get my foot all the way down into some boots, or shoes with a high vamp. My official shoe size is an 8W. When that size is not available in a shoe I want, an 8.5M or 9M often works just fine. After having read all the reviews on the MIA 'Alma' clog, I then followed the size chart and measured the length of my foot from heel to toe by standing bare-flat-footed on my straight ruler. My foot measured 10" from heel to toe, so I selected the size 9 (the clogs say '39' on the bottom) in the Wine color. When I was in high school back in 1977, I had a very similar looking pair (that I loved!) in what was then called 'Oxblood.' I'm guessing they don't call the color by that name anymore due to public reaction and 'Wine' is a little friendlier color description, but the color of these is identical to the old Oxblood colored leathers of the 70's and before. It's a very wearable dark brown shade of burgundy and not as maroon as the moniker 'Wine' invokes. I love the color as it looks great with a lot of different colored pants and jeans. It's really versatile. When I received my new MIA clogs on Saturday, they looked identical in color, shape and texture to the picture of them on Amazon. No surprises or disappointments there. Yay team!I'm a barefoot kind of girl, and I was (already barefoot), so I tried on the clogs right out of the box, no socks. I had to wriggle my feet a bit to get my foot all the way down into the shoe, but that was because of my high instep. I could tell right away that the width of the shoe is just fine. I'm not worried at all about the future fit of these shoes, either, because although the leather is thick enough to be durable and keep its toe shape, the body of the upper has also got a soft hand to it m, so I can tell that they will stretch to fit the height of my instep after just a few wearings.I wondered about the adjustable buckle strap and whether or not the rivets would rub against my skin and hurt my foot or maybe cause me some blisters. They do not, I can't even feel them. Some other reviewers had mentioned that they felt the wooden sole was a little rough hewn or seemed unfinished, so I closely examined that, too. I get what the reviewers are saying about that, but there are no rough spots or splinters of any kind on the inner sole, the soles have been sanded, but just not polished or varnished to a high shine. My feeling is because when you wear socks with a glossy soled clog, they tend to slip off your foot while you're in motion, and take it from a girl know knows, there is nothing quite as painful as being in full stride, throwing a shoe and coming down on the hard back rim of the wooden heel with your soft tender arch. I also believe that as you wear these clogs over time, the oils from your skin will season the wood block naturally.I have a friend who is Swedish and says "Swedes make great shoes!" She still has and wears a pair she got in Sweden back in 1983. That's a good testimony!I'm really happy with my new MIA 'Alma' clogs. I think we'll be together for years to come.

Narrow but beautiful shoes
These shoes are quite narrow so I had to go up a size. Also the strap is very short, it won't fit around my heel which is very disappointing. The quality and design is beautiful however, I hope the company realizes that women's feet are not all the same!
