Simple USB B to USB A works exactly as intended
This is a simple adapter that lets you plug USB A type plugs into a USB B socket. It works as intended and is good value.

this was an excellent buy for what I was trying to do but the idea didn't work out at all buuuuuuut I will be keep this thing a while incase I need it for something else

Worthless !
As several others have posted here, this is a useless item. There's no mention of a no return policy until after it's purchased. Mine was dead on arrival. It's such a simple device -- just four wires to convert between two different USB connectors with four contacts each. I tested mine with a multimeter after it didn't work on two different devices. Only three of the four contacts had continuity between the two sides and two from one side were connected to a single contact on the second side !After complaining to Amazon and getting a refund, I decided to take it apart. I found several issues. On one side, two wires were touching where the insulation had been stripped for soldering. This caused the 2 to 1 continuity I found. Four of the solder joints were cold soldered, so poor or no electrical contact was made between the wire and connector. And lastly, one wire had been pulled out of the cold solder joint when the wires were twisted to make it fit in the plastic casing. All in all, extremely poor manufacturing, even for a $5 part. Sadly, mine will be headed for the landfill soon.

As expected
Great product, as expected. We use this tablet is connected to the monitor and it works perfectly. Good price, delivery time frame is good, the quality is good. So overall a good product and a good buy!

Can Now Connect to a Projector via USB
The USB A Female to USB B Male works great for my application. I use it to connect a USB A cable to the USB B port on a projector. It transmits both video and audio (single speaker on the projector). USB A cable and ports were hard installed in the wall and ceiling to connect a computer and projector. Only after receiving the projector was it learned USB B was required for proper operation. This simple connector solved an otherwise troublesome problem.

It works!
What can be said? This is a simple adapter and it suited my needs 100%.I used it for some computer cabling and needed to mate 2 usb cords. This adapter did well. Tight and secure fitting with perfect signal flow.It's one of those little computer tools that's good to have around.

Good price & performance but poor grip
While I was very pleased with the price of these adapters and their look when I got them, I have to say I'm a bit disappointed in their gripping ability. They seem to connect just fine from a signal standpoint, but they are so loose and floppy on the cords I have them on that I feel as that will fall off the cord is I ever forget to pick them up anywhere else than at the adapter. They get the job done though.

just what you expect
Great price for the piece but didn’t end up using it since i ordered the wrong thing but since it was so cheap i’ll be holding onto it for maybe a future use
