The pain will go away. You can do this!
So far it works!! Like most I read all the reviews and was scared. I’ve been dealing with a yeast infection for a couple days decided to give this a try. So started out great, super easy to do. So I pop it in and lay in bed for about an hour. Obviously I can’t lay around all day because I’m a mom and god forbid the children go ask dad for a cup of milk. I wanted to do this a couple hours before bed time because this momma likes her sleep and didn’t want anything to interrupt it. Well I get up and go down stairs the kids want to play board games yay! Not as soon as I sit down to play I feel the burn coming. It’s not as bad as most say but it’s there it’s very annoying because all I want to do is scratch my insides and can’t. So I go to the bathroom and try to make the burn go away. In the beginning I decided i wasn’t going to use the cream or the wipes. Well once the burning started I said screw it, it can’t get any worse than this. And thank the lord the wipes and cream worked. I don’t want to rip my insides out. I can actually sit and be ok, even finished playing the board games. It’s only been 3hrs and I think I survived. The worst is over. Even the itching is gone. No more pain.I suggest to pop it in and lay in bed as long as you can cause once it starts to leak out that’s when it burns. When it starts to burn use the wipe and then the cream. It works magic. Also wear a pad.

Yes, it burns... But...
I had a particularly bad yeast infection and just wanted it gone. I bought this, and not long after, I felt a burning and itching like I'd never known. It lasted about an hour, and I was able to go to sleep. Next day, all symptoms were gone! I got another yeast infection about a year later, but this one wasn't as bad. Again, I just wanted it gone, so I bought this same treatment and braced myself. This time, there was no burning or itching, but symptoms were still gone by morning. The other reviews are true about the initial burning, but in my experience, it depends on how bad the infection is. I would still be prepared for the extreme discomfort, but if you can deal with it for about an hour, the product does work in one day, just as stated!

Of course no one wants to be one of those people that review yeast infection medication online, but it has to be done lol! After taking birth control I started getting yeast infections. I decided to try monistat because I have seen so many commercials on tv about it. I bought the 3 day because 7 days was too long to take and the dosage wasn’t strong and the one day was way to strong and I was scared that I was going to burn myself inside because the medication was going to be too strong, so I did the 3 day thinking it would be a happy medium. When I tell you that this has worked, it has worked. I have not had any yeast infections since. The infection went away right after I stopped using it. I would def recommend wearing crappy underwear while doing it because it will leak, but aside from that I have no complaints. It was an amazing product and recommend to anyone who is suffering from a yeast infection

Pregnancy + Diabetes = never ending yeast infection
Been battling a yeast infection for about a month now and I've learned a lot, so I feel it's only fair to pass the knowledge along. I've gotten so desperate with many sleepless nights due to the itching, so I've read almost every Amazon review and blog there is to read on the subject, here's a breakdown of need to know info.Yeast infection is an overgrowth of fungus, and is best treated with anti-fungal meds. There can be different strains of yeast that grow out of control down there. There are 3 main over the counter anti-fungals you can buy, some of which are disguised under the same brand name so read the active ingredient carefully.TYPES of OVER THE COUNTER ANTIFUNGALSMonistat 7 - antifungal is miconazole, comes in cream suppository onlyMonistat 3 - antifungal is miconazole, comes in both cream suppository or ovuleMonistat 1 - antifungal can be miconazole or tioconazole (read active ingredient carefully). miconazole comes in cream or ovule, tioconazole only comes as a cream suppository (consistency is more of an ointment like Vaseline)Clotrimazole - brand name Lotrimin, or sometimes just generic clotrimazole if you buy Target brand. Comes in cream suppository only, 3 day treatment only.FORMS of ANTIFUNGALSCream suppository- this is a cream you inject up your vagina at bedtime. It's messy and drips out throughout the day, but works.Ovule- this is a gel capsule you insert in your vagina, and your body heat melts the capsule and the cream slowly oozes out. Less mess than the cream suppository, but these usually come in higher concentration and have a shorter treatment duration (3 day) I prefer this because there's less mess.Should I use 1,3, or 7 day treatment?- yeast is stubborn, and the longer your treatment regimen the lower the dose of the med. For example, monistat 7 has 100mg of miconazole per dose, but monistat 3 has 200mg of miconazole and monistat 1 is 1200mg. Higher dose over less time doesn't necessarily mean you'll kill the yeast faster. That's why docs always recommend the 7 day treatment. And whatever you do, finish the whole treatment - if you feel good and think you don't need to finish the med, the remaining yeast will have time to replicate and regrow and come back with a vengeance, stronger than before.Which antifungal should I choose?- miconazole is broad spectrum, it will kill most strains of yeast. However if you tried it and it didn't give you relief, try tioconazole or clotrimazole, those may target your specific strain of yeast better. This Amazon post is selling both creams and ovules, so make sure to choose the correct one. I specifically ordered the 3 day ovules but received the 3 day creams instead and had to return it, hence the 4 stars.Other home remedies I've used in conjunction with the meds include cutting sugar out of my diet, exercising a bit more but getting out of sweaty clothes asap (yeast loves warm and moist areas to thrive in), and injecting plain Greek yogurt up my vagina using the suppository injectors that come with creams you buy. I also take AZO yeast supplements, eat Greek yogurt, and drink probiotic drinks. Greek yogurt seemed to help the most when I injected it before bed, I woke up the next morning and most of the itching was gone. But then again I was finishing my 4th round of monistat and clotrimazole in the same night so it's hard to say what did the trick. To manage the itching and burning, I wash the area well with water only, no douching, and towel off very dry. Also kept blow dryer on cool setting next to my bed and used it to fan off my woman area when it gets too moist. Vagisil is an amazing anesthetic cream, only takes a few seconds after you rub it on and your hoo ha is super numb. But remember it's only that, an anesthetic, just relieves the itching and pain but does nothing to kill the yeast.
