I HIGHLY recommend this! My older American Bulldog has Hyperkeratosis. It must have bothered him, because he was constantly rubbing his face. He no longer does that. I started applying Blissful Dog Nose Butter 3 times a day. After 2 weeks the crustiness was gone, but it was still cracked. After 1 month the cracks were gone. I still put it on once a day, and after about 2 months, his nose is no longer crusty or cracked. However, I don't think it will ever be 100% better. I can feel a different texture where the crustiness was. But it's soooo much better. He has lots of allergies, so he gets cooked ground beef for snacks. I put a teaspoon of snack meat on a plate & spread it all around. Then I let the plate hang off the edge of the counter a little bit, so he can see it. While he's focused on the plate, I quickly pat a tiny amount all over the top of his nose. Then very quickly grab the plate & shove it in front of his face. After eating it, he licks his nose, so I was worried that it wouldn't work. But it did! If you can get your friend to keep it on for about 15-20 seconds, it will probably work for you too.

We have a 13 year old pug that had a pretty bad nose roll build up. He certainly doesn’t like to have it cleaned and we’ve tried so many different wipes and paste, but the only thing that has worked was this product. It’s easy to put on and he doesn’t fight back because he’s waiting for his treat right after I apply the nose butter. The nose roll went from being a bad build up to starting to crumble after about five days. It looks so much better. At first I applied it 2-3 times a day for the first week and now we put it on about every other day for maintenance.

First let me say I am horrible with writing reviews which is wrong of me since I rely so heavily on them. I just had to write a review about how amazing this stuff is. I am so mad at myself for not taking before and after pictures. My dog has had this horrible nose that looks almost like the crystals you grow in a tank! Right before I started this cream the front part had this thick horrible piece that was llke a flap. He has seen 3 vets over the last 3 years and none of them had a diagnosis or suggestion of anything that worked (olive oil, coconut oil, fish oil). I am not sure if it was this but I found "hyperkeratosis" online and seen someone suggest this (even the pictures you see online of hyperkeratosis are literally not even half as bad as what my poor pups nose was). After only 3 days of applying it once a day my dog has a normal nose! I did apply generously and rubbed it in for a while, which he did not enjoy but with each application the pieces of his nose just came off one after the other (gross, I know). There was no pain, no redness, bleeding, or swelling, just a normal little doggie nose under all those layers. This is not a fake review (which I am skeptical about), and I am sorry I do not have before and after pictures, but give this a try and spread the word for all of those poor pups and pup owners that are grossed out by their dogs nose LOL!

My dog (pitbull) had a very very dry nose the past week or so, the last two days with dried boogers. The nose looked like it would be very uncomfortable, and he wouldn’t let me touch it. After scouring Amazon and different nose balms, I decided on this one. I read how people saw incredible improvements very quickly.We We’ve had the product less than 24 hours, have applied it 3 times to his nose, and it looks almost normal! I’m completely shocked at how quickly this healed him! He also didn’t mind me rubbing it in (after the first time), so I’m thinking he was also feeling some pretty quick relief. I’m not one to leave reviews, but honestly felt this one was needed. Would 10/10 recommend!!

I can't stand to see dogs with dry noses, it's so unpleasant for the dog. Please care for your pet as they deserve. This is the product to use for those dogs with dry noses. Clean their nose a couple of times a day then apply the butter until healing happens, then use it as a preventative. This is wonderful stuff and the smallest tin will last quite a while.

When I opened the package I was so mad. I thought, oh great this is such a small container how will this even work. I started using this Monday evening and you only need a tiny bit. On Wednesday evening, as I was rubbing it on, the dead dry stuff just fell off! I can't say enough about this product. I wish I had taken a before picture to show how thick the skin was on her nose. Thank you so much for such an amazing product.

Our vet recommended this for the sore on the nose of our dog. It cleared it up immediately. Works great. It was hard to keep ahead of his licking it. lol

Recently bought this product for my Frenchie. Excellent product for dry chapped noses. The ingredients are natural and don’t irritate my dogs nose. All safe oils in this product providing deep hydration. And it’s unscented so it’s perfect for any sensitive pets. Super easy use and rapidly absorbs into the skin making the skin feel and look healthy instantly. Very effective and natural cream, much liked!

Still a work in progress, his nose isn't as dry and improving with regular daily use. Would recommended.

Dry nose it worked but my dog did not like it much.

While I love the way this nose butter is packaged, I find that the butter is too thick to really make much difference in my Peke’s nose. He has a very dry nose that can flake so I was hoping this would help turn things around but his nose has made no improvement. I think a texture of something like a Nivea cream would be better (not suggesting Nivea, just referring to its texture) would hydrate the nose more. Using something that is so thick and occlusive isn’t actually adding moisture to the nose. Also, by the time this butter is absorbed, my Peke licks it off. If it was a little less thick, it would instantly be absorbed before the dog can lick at it. I have things at home to make organic and clean creams, lotions, etc so I think I’ll just look up what is/isn’t safe for my fur-boy and make something myself. For these reasons I do not recommend this nose butter for very dry noses.

I adopted a street dog with various health issues. His nose was always dry and had an excess of cells much like the pictures in other reviews. Some people said it was because he he survived distemper and others said he damaged his nose from rummaging in garbage looking for food.Whatever the cause, Nose Butter was the cure! After the prescribed 3x day for the first week, his nose is completely different! He has a wet nose and the excess cells have disappeared. I honestly wasn't expecting such a quick result nor such a dramatic result!My only regret: Not taking before and after pictures!
