A small investment to protect your large investment. The cover itself is well made good thickness and stitching, Velcro in all the right places, The frame is a bit flimsy, but is easy to assemble and does the trick, think of it like a dome style camping tent. I recommend getting the see thru skirt attachment so that you can cover all the important parts of your generator, plus see the main board and power connections. This keeps the weather off of and out of your generator's main parts for a fraction of the cost. Remember YOU SHOULD NOT RUN A GENERATOR, WITH NO COVER IN ANY WET CONDIOTIONS AND YOU MOST CERTAINLY DO NOT RUN ONE IN ANY CLOSED CONDITIONS! The cover also gives your generator protection from the scorching sun. We were without power for a week (Beryl) and this cover kept my generator looking like it came out of the box!

I covered my champion generator with this after easy assembly. I live in the mountains so weather can get really bad. This cover exposes what needs to be open and covers what needs covered. It’s held in place and has easy access to filling the genny with fuel. Durable materials are used and Velcro closures finishes it off. Tremendous help when genny stays outside. Great for the price. Fits genny perfectly. It’s doing what it was intended to do.

Perfect fit for a 201417 11,000 watt Champion inverter. A little pricey but well made. Installation instructions are clear and detailed. Was a little concern about clearance for the inverter's high positioned exhaust but the "tent" can be positioned such that I don't think it will be a problem. They also have a carrying bag that I'm going to get for the "tent's" storage that will also fit the fiberglass poles.

The cover does what it says. Very durable material and keeps everything dry. The plastic clamps that attach to the generator frame are junk. With just two uses one broke. The manufacturer has an upgraded clamp kit that can be purchased separately. They say they are made out of metal but I haven’t tried them yet. They should ditch the plastic clamps and include the metal ones with the Storm Shield cover.

I just completed installing this on my Champion generator and the fit was perfect. There is a handy chart that tells you what setting to use on the brackets and the fit was nice and tight. We have a scheduled power outage tomorrow night and it may rain. I am very confident that this will protect the generator as expected. The fit of the cover is perfect and the quality is very good. Do not torque the nuts on the brackets. Finger tight is plenty good.

First a knock to amazon, i purchased a new item but this one was clearly opened and probably returned, i paid for new..... i was going to send it back but i opened it today and installed it while doing the break in run on my new generator to make sure all parts were here and see if there was any damage but it seems ok so i guess ill keep it- a little annoying but not the end of the world. If amazon is going to sell returned or open box items, they should clearly say it is an open box or returned item. Now that that is out of the way, this seems like a good cover- it is not really like a tent, the material is much heavier more like what an inflatable raft is made out of so it is pretty heavy and it comes with another panel that velcros on to the electrical panel area so the electric end is also protected. These covers are made for champion by gen tent and get great reviews on line (you can u tube installation because the manual is a little weak) they are a little expensive but you cannot run these things in the rain and power rarely goes put on a clear dry day so you gotta have a plan for that or the generator os pretty much useless, and after our February snow mess here in Texas 2021, a generator upgrade was needed..... ercot (Texas electric utility reliability regulator) probably did more for generator sales this year —-2021 than anyone ever could. I think this will protect the generator well in bad weather and keeps it away from the house while running. negatives? cost, and the brackets that hold it on are plastic and will not stay in place without the rubber bushings that go under the brackets around the frame so if those are lost or break - problem. I wish they'd include an extra set just in case, for the money it seems like plastic brackets, rubber spacers are kinda cheap but hopefully im wrong it just seems like those are the kind of things that get lost or broken at the absolute worst time - when you need them and its a stormy day. That is the only negatives i can think of because in general, it seems like a well made item.

My generator tent arrived quickly, as promised. It was easy to install and very much reminds me of a camping tent. The fabric is sturdy and should last a long time (since I store it in the garage when not needed). Something of a surprise is that even with the tent on, my generator still fits through my side door, so I don't have to figure out how to open my garage door without electricity. However, so far, I have not had to use my generator. After several storms in rapid succession, we have have had a little better weather. So, I have not had a chance to see if it can handle a full load of rain or snow. But it's still early....

Handsome generator cover that matches my Champion generator perfectly. Living in an area prone to hurricanes and consequently power outages, I chose this cover over other similar covers because Champion has actually rated their cover for 70mph winds and heavy rains and snow. when a hurricane strikes, i wanted a cover up to the task. I chose Champion

Haven’t had a chance to put to use yet but seems like a great product. Easy to install. Sturdy material. Only downside I see is that it for the price it should have included a storage bag when not in use

Awesome addition for our Champion generator. Very easy to assemble and attach to your generator. Piece of mind knowing our back up generator is fully protected against adverse weather. Thank you Champion!

Haven't had bad weather to really know but by it's look, fit and quality i'm quite sure it will do the job. Easy installation as well.

Assembly was straight forward. Pay attention to the fact that the instructions say not to tighten the 4 corner attachments too tight as they will come under tension with the fiber glass rods and the tent elastics that attach to them .Has survived a down east snowstorm so far. The only gripe I have is that I think it should have a, say a 3 x 3" foam piece for the very top of the tent support (which I added) to prevent chafing of the tent apex.

Loce the tent idea keep weather off generator tent well maid .but thr corner clamps are plastic .i took it off 4000 watt and transfrered it on a new 10000 watt champion gegerator and some how must have hooked it ? Broke plastick clamp. 1 side so pasted it with j b weld thick layer on out side ...my fault but not to keen on plastic..but love the tent
