M-D Building Products 43101 Shrink and Seal Window Film with Tape

Zero. Half of the roll was missing and most of the tape. I asked about refund.

I bought these to help us keep some heat in the house in chilly New England this winter. Upon receipt we started installing them on the windows. VERY easy to install. It definitely takes two people, especially if you're short like me. We installed them no problem and could feel a difference almost instantly. My only gripe is the tape doesn't stay!! We have painted window sills so we figured it could be that but we tried to redo them and it's the same thing. We were sort of disappointed because we had to take the shrink wrap down and now we have nothing on some windows. I would recommend the actual shrink wrap, but maybe find another type of tape to seal the windows with.

The 25' x 84" size is convenient for large windows. I also use it as an air barrier between two rooms so the heat from a fireplace cannot escape the living room. I would exercise caution with the double-sided tape, though. It pulled the paint off the wall around one of my windows when I tried to remove it in the spring. I have overcome this problem by surrounding the window first with painters' tape, the blue kind made by Scotch for sensitive surfaces. I put the two-sided tape on top of the painters' tape, and then press the plastic against the two-sided tape. Only the painters' tape touches the wall. But make sure you get the painters tape that is intended for sensitive surfaces so that it won't pull the paint when you remove it. I believe that the double-sided tape is of a lower quality than the tape included with 3M's window kits.

The tape sucked but the concept of this plastic was amazing! So happy with my purchase
