A great book for teaching yourself every concepts clearly.
I wasn't sure about it before buying because it was costly and exceeding my budget. But after buying I can tell you it's totally worth it. The book is very easy to understand and now I can bridge the gap which was made because I didn't study in earlier standards. My conceptions are totally clear now.

Ok but very costly
It explains the things clearly and to the point .... But it is too costly for the content ...

It's complicated
I bought this book to supplement the Higher Maths that I am studying. By Chapter 3 I am struggling to answer the problems! Admittedly the answers are provided, along with explanations as to how the answers are reached, For what is supposed to be a Self-Teaching guide it's very short on simple explanation.

A good book to get a summary of the most important concepts of trigonometry
This book will provide you the most important concepts to begin tackling trigonometry. It doesn't give you exercises. One important feature: The author shows you where some formulas come from. This is primordial to favor understanding and minimize memory.

Mistakes. Poorly organized. Even worse practice problems
Not much seems to have changed in terms of how teachers approach things. The book has a lot of errors, is poorly organized and the practice problems are your typical "here's how to cut a sandwich in half, now go carve a turkey" issues we've all had in typical education (specifically, math). It should be a longer book, with better explanations, less errors and more applicable practice problems.

Excellent
Reading first pages has already gotten me started an answered my question on study references. It is tippicol on wanting You to see advanced studies To reach this one. I would like this earlier step mentioned. However be advanced saw this and understood telling me of my experience. The feeling was the leaving out fundamentals to those whom have experience in this lesson. This is not going to help those not experienced enough before this study.

no unnecessary filler, just essential Trig
I took trig nearly 20 years ago. I needed a refresher for an engineering class. This book is awesome. It uses proofs when useful, and doesn't bother with excess "math fat." The language is clear and concise. If you need a LOT of practice problems you might want to add another guide, but this is perfect for reacquainting oneself with trig functions. Thank you Mr. Hill.
