They fit together nice and tight, the little screw covers and the screws are threaded, nice touch. No instruction sheet for assembling was included, only a sheet about using the adhesive and the stickers to help hold while curing. I screwed them into the wall. I looked at the video quickly to see how they went together. You can fully assemble, then mark your drill points. The adhesive tubes had the colors of the German flag on them. As my headline says, excellent engineering here, I am 100% satisfied with these shelves, glad I bought these. You will be too.
