So damn narrow!
I bought these even tho they were categorized as very narrow. They fit, but the arms press into my temples. I'm not overweight, weighing 154, and I don't have a wide head. They need to make these about 1/4 to 1/2 inch wider for the typical adult to wear comfortably.

hard to keep clean
I like the retro style, but they smudge easily and are hard to clean off

They cause a dent on bridge of my nose
I needed a stronger pair of magnifying for sewing. I love the style, shape and color but they do not have tabs that support the glasses on the bridge of my nose. I have an unsightly dent on my nose after wearing. It does go away eventually but who needs an extra wrinkle??!?!

Cutest pair of reading glasses
These reading glasses are so cute and hip at the same time. Are these sturdy? All eyeglasses are delicate. You have to be careful with them, always. The same is true with these frames. They are as sturdy. The temples arrived tightened firmly so they are stiff when opening. This is what I expect from my regular glasses. The glasses arrived in a sturdy zipped case along with a microfiber cleaning cloth and microfiber bag.For only 14 bucks, these glasses are like a solid pair of frames you would pay way more for. Seriously.I love them so much, that I'm considering getting a second pair and having my prescription lenses put in.

puts the fun in functional
these were ordered partly for a specific costume i am making, and partly for regular use as there is (finally) a term for my preferred style of daily dress: 'history-bounding'. so now i know! the spectacles are ridiculously cute. they look vintage enough to work with my costume, and seamlessly go with my regular clothing. they are clear, with good magnification, and function perfectly well for my small print/details needs. i chose 1.75 strength, and they seem exactly on target for that. the frames are smoothly finished and a pleasing shade of faux tortoiseshell. if they hold up to regular use, i shall be very happy with them indeed.points for other shoppers: because these are vintage style, the lenses are quite small. those who expect or need full coverage for the eyes to read without strain should take this into consideration. for me, it's not a problem, and shouldn't be if the main use of these glasses is minor, occasional magnification. YMMV, of course.not a problem for me, because i have a small (child-sized!) head, is the overall size of the frames...they are small! they fit me perfectly, and for that reason i can be sure that others out there would find these ludicrously tiny and possibly too tight for comfort. for younger folk, and for people like me---mainly very small-framed women or very narrowly-made gents---they work a treat. i'm very happy with them.

Weird long oval shaped lenses -- unattractive
I thought these would be the same as similar-looking glasses I have bought from Amazon: The kind with round lenses and and an upward-pointing v-shaped nose bridge. However, the lenses on these are MUCH bigger than the lenses on the similar glasses i bought from another manufacturer. They are larger, and also not perfectly round. They are slightly oval, with the long axis of the oval pointing up and down -- in other words, the oval is taller than it is wide. To my eyes, that just looks weird and ugly. Also, the way the glasses sit on my face, I'm looking through the top half of the oval, while the bottom half extends uselessly and weirdly way down over my cheeks. On the plus size, the frames are sturdy and made of a decently attractive material, and the magnifying lenses in the glasses seem to work fine.

Pretty good reading glasses.
Not sure I got the precise strength I’d ordered, but the glasses are fine. Lightweight and they look pretty good on. Decent lenses for reading.
