The message of the book is good; it teaches children to put things away when they are finished and to turn undesirable chores into games. The German is good as far as I can tell, but there are errors in the English and some mistranslations. An error would be "starring" instead of "staring," and a repeated mistranslation is "jüngere" being translated as "middle" instead of "younger."

This is a great starter book for learning German. It has both the German and the English translation side by side which helps in associating the German words to English. It works for kids so why not someone learning the language.

Enjoyed practicing my German by reading this book. I have been learning the language at a slow pace and even though it's hard to read through this book for my level, it's far better than just memorizing words
