For people on the protein shake bandwagon (like me), this is a really good concept, but overall the design leaves much to be desired. Since I prefer to drink my breakfast and lunch, I was so excited to purchase this blender! When I'm at work, I always am self conscious about the noise shaking a bottle can be. Unfortunately, I was immediately disappointed when I opened the box to find a large black mark on my bottle--but that is the risk with purchasing sight unseen, and (as you can see in the picture), while it is unsightly, it does not interfere with the use of the bottle. It is very easy to charge the motor--simply plug in the included USB cable into an USB port (unfortunately NOT included). The cable even includes a light to indicate when it is charging. The overall design of the bottle is sleek, and includes a removable top, powder container, cup, and motor base. The cup contains measuring marks for adding liquid--but only the bottom and top lines are labels (4 and 18). The number of lines is a little confusing, since they are not equally drawn, plus the numbers do not add up correctly. For instance, when I added 8 oz from a measuring cup, this wound up between two of the lines. I like that the bottle has a container for the protein powder, but it is in a bad location (and is a little too small for the amount of protein my company uses). It is located at the top of the bottle, under the lid. Once you remove the container to pour in the powder, you have to leave it separate until you are ready to clean and put away the bottle--since I generally use my shaker bottles as a water bottle for the rest of the day, its a little annoying to have a second container to keep track of as well (or if I put it back on the bottle, I can't use it for a water bottle). The top of the bottle is REALLY difficult to drink out of because of the flat piece in the front, especially if you are drinking a thick shake. As for the blender itself; the best part is that it is very quiet while blending (much appreciated in a busy office), but you have to blend it a LOT longer than 30 seconds to thoroughly mix the shake! Even after a minute of blending, it was still clumpy. This is especially true if you are trying to blend WHEY protein. This might work better for non protein mixes (I haven't tried using non protein drinks yet). As for cleaning, you can initially clean the mixer part by putting in clean water and a little detergent, and then push the blender button. BUT, I found I still needed to gently hand clean the bottle because I still found small particles in the many nooks and crannies of the bottle (i.e. in the areas that hold the protein container in the bottle, and in the mixer itself). In a nutshell:Pros:1. Sleek design2. Easy to charge and use3. Contains protein powder container (on the small side though)4. Very quiet blenderCons:1. VERY hard to drink from because of the flat piece in front of the mouthpiece2. Does not thoroughly mix the drink in the suggested 10-30 seconds on the box (easily takes over a minute)3. Once empty, the protein container either has to be kept separate, or you can't drink from the bottle4. Not so easy to clean as suggested due to many little areas for thick liquid to get stuckOverall, I found that my shaker bottle was more useful than the Shakecy Vortex Shaker.

This is such a nifty little tool! I workout and am trying to boost muscle. I am a busy working mom with two small children and a 60 hour work week - time to prep all the food I need isn't possible, so protein shakes are really necessary for me. However, I really hate them! I don't like them because they can be gritty and clumpy and gross.Enter the Protein shaker bottle - it is battery powered, so it can really blend the powder into the water. There are no clumps, no lumps and makes the shake taste like a really real shake! It has made getting my protein much more fun!I keep it at the office, so it can charge while plugged into my docking station and it is always ready for me. I put a drop of Dawn and about 1/3 cup of warm water in and buzz it a few seconds to clean and bing bang boom - done! There is a storage container to hold the powder as well, so it is nice and compact and perfect at the office. I would think that if you have a UBS plug in your car, it could be an "on the go" product as well.It says right on the box, but I will say it again here - it is meant for water/milk/juice and a powder and NOT for ice or fruit or whatever - it is a shaker bottle on steroids, but it isn't a high speed blender.

It mixes your protein drinks really well. I love it compared to the brand name one that is $15 more, BUT the drinking spout has a funny lip ring around it which makes this one not as enjoyable to drink from. I think they copied the exact design except swapped the lid to have this spout on the drinking side(they really shouldn't have put any spout on it, it doesn't help at all. lol. Other than that this is one to one of the brand name. I own them both, and the lids are interchangeable ;)

I purchased the Shakecy Protein Shaker Bottle for my college kid who has limited space in his dorm room. The small size is perfect as well as the fact that it is rechargeable with a USB cord since wall outlets are few and far between in those dorm rooms. I noted that another reviewer commented that this product was loud, however, I did not think that at all. Since the Since the Shakecy Protein Shaker Bottle is only meant to mix liquid and powder (not ice and pieces of food), it could only produce so much noise anyway. My son loves that it quickly and conveniently mixes his protein shakes and he can take it with him when he leaves for class in the morning and consume it later in the day between classes. It is by no means a heavy duty blender, but it certainly works better than a hand shaker and removes all the lumps from the protein shake.

This is perfect for us! My son drinks protein drinks all the time and this has made it fun and simple for him to use - and the shake comes out perfect every time. There are measurements on the side of the cup so you know how much liquid to use. Simply add your liquid and your protein powder and push the button - wait about 30 seconds and enjoy!!! Drink it right from the cup - nothing else to clean up!!! They've also incorporated a separate container for your protein powder, which I know will come in handy when he starts bringing this with him to school so he can have his protein drink before football practice!!! He can simply put the cup in his locker during the day and just add the protein powder before practice, push the button and he's got a perfectly blended protein shake!!!

Works well mixing powder. Dont like the fact that the mixing piece is not removable for easier cleaning. Also the hole is not that comfortable to drink from. Should have made it semi curved so it is more comfortable for your lips to sit on. All in all a good mixing cup.

I love these bottles. I had another one that was just like this but from a different brand and it broke. I'm hoping this one is a bit more sturdy. It mixes seamlessly and is super quick and easy. It's also really easy to clean.pros: easy to use, comes with a charger, you don't need to charge it often, works wellcons: I wish the charger actually had a plug in piece...not just a USB charger, I'm waiting for them to come out with a cuter and less bulky one. ;)
