Good lights at decent price
I had decided to replace my old halogen bulbs and landed on the Beam Tech LED bulbs. I purchased the H4/9003 style for my 1999 Toyota Corolla. The install was easy enough. I had installed similar lights in another vehicle, so knew about the tricks. You have to take the retaining ring off, and install it into the housing. Then you can put the dust cover boot back on and then insert and lock the bulb in. This does fin the stock/oem dust cover on my vehicle without modifying it. You do have to push in a bit harder, and it's a bit tougher to lock into place, but does work. I prefer to have the dust cover if possible. After installation, there were a few issues. I noticed static on most of the radio stations, some were much worse than others, and would come and go. This is a fairly common issue it appears with most models of LED headlights from multiple makers, not just Beam Tech. I had a notion of this ahead of time though. I contacted Beam Tech to see if they had any recommendations or solutions. They responded and shipped out the CANBUS decoder for the H$/9003 style lights. I installed it and the static issue is fixed. It even took care of the tiny amount of flicker I noticed, it was barely noticeable unless stopped for a few minutes and the lights hit a flat surface. Overall I have much brighter headlights, that should not need to be replaced every 6-12 months. Beam Tech's support was quick to respond and resolved the issue with the provided CANBUS decoder/adapter. I am very happy with my purchase, and will likely buy their brand again for other vehicles and bulbs.

Great - Owner of Three Pairs
I have these bulbs installed in my car and two motorcycles. Thus far I have found them to be vastly superior to other LED retrofit bulbs I have tried, even those that cost more. The key is that these bulbs arrange the LED emitters in a manner that mimics the shape and light output of a filament bulb closely enough that they will still work with your stock reflectors. Or, at least, they work with the stock reflectors in a Subaru Crosstrek (1st gen), Kawasaki KLR650 (2nd gen), and Yamaha FZ6R. This is a big deal, because the main problem with LED retrofit bulbs is that most of them don't seem to work properly with reflector type headlight assemblies and waste most of their light output by blinding oncoming traffic an illuminating the sky rather than the road. These project perfectly in all three vehicles I have them in, with a clear and correct cutoff for oncoming traffic that is indistinguishable from stock. I also like that these have a lower profile design than most and do not include nor seem to require a fan. Maybe they're not "as bright" as fan equipped models, but they're clearly brighter than stock H4 bulbs which is plenty enough for me, and the lack of fan sticking out the back means that they're easier to fit in more vehicles and have one less failure point. I assure you the fan is the cheapest component in your bulb assembly, and when it inevitably goes, soon after go the emitters. These are also silent while in operation, which doesn't sound like a big deal but when you're creeping up a mountain road in the dark at 3 AM, it kind of is. I have had no longevity issues, fan or no fan. I've been cooking the ones in my Subaru for going on three years now and they do not exhibit any noticeable dimming and have required zero maintenance or adjustment since I put them in. There is still a sizable heat sink that sticks out the back, so there must be about 2" of clear space behind your bulb socket at minimum to fit these, a little more if you don't want to annoy yourself getting them in. Most H4/9003 equipped vehicles have that rubber boot thing surrounding the plug... My Subaru does, and I was able to stretch it over the heat sink and put it back in place, just in case it ever matters. The bulbs themselves seem to be waterproof (or waterproof enough, I haven't drowned one on my bike yet and they're completely exposed with no rubber boot there) so even if you can't do this it's probably a non-issue, unless the design of your headlight assembly allows water to get in behind the lens.

Nice and White
Nice, bright, white. Easy install into 2012 Sienna Van. Good Pattern. No one has flashed their lights at me. I carefully touched one of the heat sinks after a short drive and was impressed at how HOT it was. Not a concern since it is an engineered unit. I definitely prefer the heat sinks of this design vs fan cooled designs. No bearings to fail.

Good Performance, No Flicker, and Safe for Other Drivers
I installed these BEAMTECH H4 bulbs on my 2010 Honda CR-V, and overall they work acceptably well. In automatic mode, the lights stay on at low intensity during the day and automatically increase brightness at night, which works as expected. The light output is good and evenly distributed, although it could be a bit brighter. That said, they still provide adequate visibility. A big plus is that they do not flicker at all, something I’ve experienced with brighter LED bulbs. Another important advantage is that they do not blind oncoming traffic, even though they are installed in the factory housing designed for halogen bulbs. The beam pattern remains controlled and safe for other drivers. Overall, these bulbs are a solid upgrade from halogen if you want reliable performance without flickering or glare.

Product support was fantastic
I have been an amazon member since 2007 and have never written a review. I've never had anything really good or bad with a purchase so I've never seen the need. These guys are different. I'm not reviewing the product so much as I am the product support. I bought some H4 LED lights, they arrived quickly, I installed them and there was no issues with the fit. They went in perfectly. I turned them on and DAMN!! these things are bright!! The street signs look like they are lit up with neon or something. I was very pleased. Now I'm sure that there are many other companies selling a similar product and maybe for less money, and they probably work just as good. But here's why you should buy them from BEAMTECH. I noticed that when I turned on my fog lights my high beams would come on. I could not make them turn off unless I turned the fog lights back off again. In today's day and age you would think "well it sucks to be me I guess" but I figured what the hell. I'll contact them and see what they have to say. So I sent them a message, they replied the same day and told me that the cause was because there was an issue with the amount of amperage their lights draw. They don't draw much, certainly not as much as standard lights, and I needed to install resistors to solve the issue. I fix cars for a living and I already knew that the low amperage was causing a back feeding issue through my turn signal switch so they were correct in their evaluation. They also said that they would send me out resistors free of charge. That was more than satisfactory to me. A few days later they arrived. And to my surprise they were complete plug and play harnesses. I honestly figured I would have to splice them in myself like I've done many many times with turn signal LED bulbs to solve the hyper flash issues, but no they were complete harnesses as seen in the photo. I was amazed that they just sent me these free of charge no questions asked. Honestly I think you could probably sell these for 20 or 30 bucks a pair to someone that doesn't know anything about cars or how to wire up your own. So like I said there are plenty of other places to buy lighting for your car, but if you want amazing product support I would recommend BEAMTECH for all your lighting needs. Thanks guys, I'm very impressed.

Great Buy!
The headlights were slightly difficult to install because of the large heatsink, but that’s the way my car was designed so not a product problem. Just be aware how big the heatsink is and if it will cause trouble installing it. For the headlights themselves, they’re really bright and perfect for the week I’ve been using them. It’s summer currently so it’s rather bright outside all the time but I can still see the lights on my garage door when pulling into it, stock headlights I couldn’t. Something else to be aware of is when the headlights are installed, if the original lights double as daytime running lights and lo/hi beams, you might have an extra step installing them correctly. After I installed them on my 2013 Honda Fit Sport, on the dash the DRL (Daytime Running Light) indicator came on, telling me there was a problem with the headlights. This is due to the LED lights using MUCH less energy than the stock halogen bulbs, so the car realizes it’s not sending the same amount of current to the bulb and freaks out. At least with Honda’s it’s rather easy to locate the fuse box and pull out the DRL fuse which will cause the DRL to stop functioning, but will remove the error code. The color aspect, 6500k is rather nice looking. No hint of blue at all, just as the description says, a cool white color. Spot on. A few days after buying them, Amy from Beamtech emailed me to ask if the headlights have worked and lived up to my standards and if I had any questions for her. Extremely nice customer service, so if I had a problem with the headlights I’m confident that I could return them and have no problems with Beamtech. Personally I’m tying these headlights in with some yellow tinted fog lights and on a red car, they will look amazing. Beamtech’s lights are slightly too big to fit in my foglight housing or else I would have bought from them 5/5 I recommend this product for anyone wanting a crisp, bright look to their car. A little tweaking needed for some cars, but that’s the deal with any aftermarket modification!

It's Almost LIke Getting A Newer Car. I CAN SEE!!
These lights are great. I have a 2010 Honda Element SC which did not come with Xenon lights. I've been using Sylvania Silverstar Ultra bulbs, which are just brighter halogen bulbs. Thy Sylvania's were better than stock but not nearly as good as Xenons or LEDs that have been available in recent years in new cars. Installing these LED lights have rejuvenated my car. These are SOOO much brighter than the SilverStar Ultra bulbs AND they were about $4.00 cheaper. The nighttime visibility of the road, hazards, etc. has dramatically improved. There are other bulbs rated at higher lumens, but I was concerned by some of them needing fans or some other type of cooling due to the excess heat. The Beamtech LEDs do have heat dissipation fins, but no moving parts to break and possibly overheat. Regarding longevity, I have no idea how long these will last, as I just got them. The Silverstar Ultra bulbs have a shortened lifespan compared to stock halogen bulbs, but LEDs generally have a much longer rated lifespan than a halogen bulb, so I'm hoping these will last for years. INSTALLATION WARNING: The three prongs that fit into the back of the light housing is a separate piece on these. Be VERY careful not to drop that while installing the lights. From experience, I can tell you that IF you accidentally drop one, Murphy's Law will take a big dump on your head and that small, black ring will drop into the deepest, darkest recesses of your front bumper. Without that ring, you can NOT install the bulb. IMO this isn't a design flaw, as it's the only way the rubber grommet that keeps water out can be installed (ring, then grommet, then bulb), as it could not be slipped over the cooling fins on the back of the bulb. Concentrate and do NOT fumble that ring during installation. I spent about an hour taking out screws and pins and pulling off my front bumper on one side to find the ring and I WAS trying to be careful not to drop it. S**t happens. D'Oh!!

These Headlights PERFORM!!!
I put the 9007 version of these headlights in my van and they are amazing and had to put these in my car to even the playing field for my driving experience. These LED headlights are very simple to install and does not require any special ballast or transformer for them to work. It is as simple as install them like a regular halogen bulb into the headlight assembly and then plug them in. I found that these headlights produced a great light spread and kept an even dispersment to make the road much more visible at night. The high beams throw a larger pattern than typical halogen bulbs in my vehicle. Be advised that results will vary from the different make and model vehicle you intend to install these bulbs. As far as the brightness is concerned.... I will put these bulbs in my installation up against HID bulbs as far as the lumens is concerned. As far as the color temp, AGAIN I would put these up against HID bulbs. They are about 15% to 25% brighter than standard halogen bulbs and burn much cooler. It produces virtually no heat signature if you put your hand in front of the headlight like you would feel if there was a halogen bulb installed. They also last A LOT longer as far as life expectancy. They are also much more energy efficient whereas they do not draw as much power as your typical HID or halogen bulb does. The only thing I would suggest is make sure that your vehicle's electrical system is compatible whereas some vehicles are set up with resistance sensors to be able to detect a bulb has burned out or not. Halogen bulbs being the fact that they use a tungsten filament that is coiled up like a spring then shorted to 2 electrical leads produce resistance which is why they glow white and burn very hot as the electricity passes through the filament. This resistance can be measured in more of the modern vehicles and installing these LED headlights which produce little to no resistance may throw a false sense to the vehicle system and display a bulb out warning. On the flip side though, if your vehicle is compatible and you are able to run these lights, I am almost sure that you will be satisfied with the light output of these bulbs. Drive safely and keep all 4 on the road out there.

Awesome lights
Plug and play setup, fit perfectly with no modifications to the headlight housing on a 2012 Tucson AWD. Super bright at night, just make sure you install them the right side up and secure the bulb tightly. No flicker and no warning lights.
