I washed these in a plastic basin with warm/hot water and rinsed about 5 times before the water was clear. Odd that some people added them straight to a fish tank without doing so. But I used them for my plants and also to keep fungus nats at bay...thes along with a mix of 3% hydrogen peroxide drizzled onto the soil ONLY, never the foliage - and they are really gorgeous. When i washed the rocks and got the dust off, the color came to life. the color and size of the jade rocks is just as shown on amazon. i would definitely purchase again and probably will very soon.

The rocks were pretty but mostly white. Very few green. I boight them because of the green color.

No jade colors at all, stones look plain grey and white nothing green in them.

These jade stones are very pretty especially when wet. I used them in a succulent pot as a soil topper and the color really brings out the plant color. When the pot is watered the jade turns transparent.

The rocks are somewhat polished but not totally smooth. That combined with the types of stones raised my PH 2. My Ph started around 7.5 and settled at 8.5 after 48 hours. Even after thoroughly rinsing the rocks, they clouded the aquarium considerably and raised PH to unusable levels (for me). These are good for decoration and maybe plants. Although I suspect they would raise soil PH too. So, only use for plants that tolerate that.
