Perfect fit
I was worried about getting the right size threads, the IBC tote spout threads looked too big for what was pictured. It went on perfectly fine and doesn't leak. Garden hose fits on easily as well.

Threads low quality, quickly fail
After just a bit of use, the threads on this have become a garbled mess and don’t connect anymore

Material was a little iffy on the threading but sealed it and it works well.

NOT "Garden Hose" - these are 3/4" NPT threads on output.
The only thing wrong with this item is, as MANY have stated, the small-side (output) is NOT garden hose threads - it is 3/4" NPT (National Pipe Thread). Very frustrating that this vendor, and many more selling the same basic item, can't or won't correct their description. That is the only reason I don't give this item 5 stars. If NPT threads works for you (and it does for me), this item is fine. If you really need garden hose threads, this item is incorrectly described and you should not buy it. With many reviews stating the same thing (that the small side is NPT, not garden hose, why won't the vendor correct the description ???

Fitted our course thread 700 lt water tote perfectly. Used ptfe tape and fitted hose pipe straight on. We now have plenty of water fur the summer growing season.
