I purchased this for my wife for the Christmas holiday, and she reacted like it was the greatest gift that anyone had ever gotten her. In fact, I'm not so sure she was this excited when I asked her to marry me... but that's a different story. Anyway, I don't blame her, this thing is sweeeeet. It is a portable and easily storable massage table. Well, it's not a complete table, but it is the most important part.We've given each other massages before on our bed and it's never the same as a massage conducted on a real massage table. In fact, it can be quite uncomfortable lying face down with your head tilted to one side. It's very difficult to relax in this position, almost painful. So we loved the solution of this face pillow because it really took away the stress on our necks and allowed us to really enjoy the massages that we gave to eachother.Being able to easily unfold this and slide the support arm between your mattress and the bed spring was a godsend, because comfortable and impromptu massage sessions were now possible. All we had to do was set the height of the face pillow once to match the thickness of our mattress and that was done easily by just loosening and tightening a couple of compression screws.The material of the face pillow was fine out of the box, but we didn't really like the plastic feel of it - our faces felt like the got stuck to it after resting on it for too long. As a result, we ended up buying this: Therapist's Choice® Massage Table Fleece Face Cover to make things a little more comfortable and plush.Again, because of its low profile and easily storable desgin this massage kit can easily fit under our bed for easy storage and easy access. We are very happy with this product, and if we had to buy it again we totally would. This is one of the best investments we've ever made for our own well being and we highly recommend that you do the same.

I enjoy massaging my hubby (as does he).We do not have a professional massage table as these run usually 100s of $ and our tempur pedic bed is big and comfy enough to do it there, but there is always the issue of having to tilt your head left or right or suffocate yourself in the mattress/pillow which is rather unpleasant.We were wondering how nice it would be if a head rest would be invented that you could extend off the bed and had a hole in the middle so you could breathe easily. Just like fancy massage tables have...Well, little did we know, such a thing was already invented!!! HELLO THERE EARTHLITE!! :) This was exactly what we needed for our bed and I saw the great reviews of this thing and it is way cheaper than a bulky massage table.Needless to say, I purchased it for my hubby for our 7th wedding anniversary and he loved it!!It is sturdy, slides so easily between the mattress and bed frame, adjusts nicely to the height of our bed and we have been giving each other massages several times a week!Both of us have been falling asleep a few times during massages and enjoy with a smirk when one of us makes somewhat cute snoring noises hahaha. THAT right there is proof, just how comfortable this head rest is and nothing goes over getting a good relaxing massage in the comfort of your own home!We say, $ well spent and won't ever look back!Ps.: I told a good friend of mine about it and how much we love it and he bought one right away for his boyfriend for Christmas last year :) he too falls asleep during the massages!

I wish I'd known about this when a friend was recovering from an eye surgery and had to lie face down. This is a lot cheaper than renting a massage table!And it works almost as well as a massage table, and a lot better than most on-the-bed or on-the-floor solutions. My partner has a bad lower back, and I've got a pain condition that means I live for a good massage. This has been worth every penny of the price. It's fairly sturdy and doesn't feel flimsy or wobbly. Adjusting it to the right height can be tricky at first, until you find the right place for your neck.If you've got a foam topper or a non-firm mattress, be aware that this may make it tricky to give someone a massage on the squishy bed. That said, this was pretty darn comfortable for both of us to use and to give massages. Heck, just lying flat and face down for a few minutes sometimes helps my back and neck pain, and if you've got a heating pad, that's even better.I'm not sure it's worth it if you're a single person who doesn't have a massage therapist coming to visit you. On the other hand, if you do, this may be an alternative to having to climb up onto a rickety portable massage table. Some of my disabled friends who can barely get out of bed might find this very useful.You may want a cover for the face cushion, which is the kind of vinyl that's easy to clean and sticks to your skin. I've been using an old T-shirt, but I'll probably buy a proper cover soon.And, heaven forbid, next time I have food poisoning or stomach flu I will put a trash can under it. You laugh now, but you'll be sleeping on the cold bathroom floor next to the toilet again, and I won't.

It serves its purpose and is comfy, but for people with big beads you can’t see an iPad fully through the opening. I purchased to watch tv shows as I fall asleep since I suffer from chronic pain
