Def need to condition clay before using. I made beads with flower

Both packs were rock hard and were not able to be conditioned. They just kept crumbling all over . Supper upset cuz I’ve never had an issue with it before.

The first one I received was hard and dry so I contacted the distributor and explained the condition and immediately was sent another ... No pictures were needed and they apologized for the mishap! The second was perfect! I mixed it with some glow in the dark clay and created little ghoulies for Halloween gifts!

Honestly was going to give this a 1 or 2 stars because as others have mentioned, it's dry and crumbly. I was so excited to add a bit of a transparent effect by combining normal polymer clay and transparent for a pair of earrings. Sadly, didn't turn out how I expected. The clay was dry, and I just could get it to mix well. However! I was scrolling through facebook and saw someone put their translucent clay in a ziplock bag and place it under some warm water. I tried it and it worked! I created a beautiful set of seaglass earrings that were a huge hit at the latest craft fair I attended! You can also get some polymer clay softener that can work as well, though you must add a little at a time. Will definitely be getting this product again!

I purchased this color and brand of clay on the recommendation of a gifted artist who creates video tutorials to help beginners sculpt miniatures for dollhouses. You really need to have a LOT of translucent clay on hand to mix with your other colors when you are creating miniature food items for 18-inch dolls. The texture and feel of this clay makes sculpting a much better experience, in my opinion. You can tell the difference in quality as soon as you start working. Sculpey Premo! is definitely my brand of choice.

I love Premo! It's a little hard to condition especially if it's not fresh but it shapes up real easy. I use it on my YouTube channel at Cobwebs and Candlesticks to make props and pieces with.This clay has a little flex to it after baking which is great. The translucent is great for making teeth with!
