This item is really hard to find and I wish there were more copies. It was delivered on tome and is great quality. The price is very low and the book is brilliant. If you ever get more copies please let me know.

As someone who lives near Ripley, Ohio - I was curious as to the underground railroad. This book, while perfect for a child, was also a great read for this adult. A perfect introduction into the UR and the story of one man's quest. It was riveting. Short, but riveting. It has awakened my curiosity and now I want to read more about the area and the role this area played in the UR.

I love this book!! for lots of reasons. One of the best parts is the illustrations! I can teach an entire lesson around how the illustrator helps us understand the story and then my kids (I teach 4th grade) can do a book report using the collage technique the illustrator uses. I can't wait to use this story!

I loved the book because I learned something new. I teach future teachers and used it to demonstrate how to incorporate into a lesson.

Like the book a lot. Visited John Parker’s home at Ripley, OH this summer. Fascinating true story!
