Great book. However Amazon refuses to ship items of this type in a way that they don't arrive damaged and often unusable. Go with direct from publisher or a music supply

Did not come with a CD. I have to download the music. Not what I expected.

i bought this for 3 high school girls who take lessons with me. They all loved playing with the cd and being able to slow down the recording. great songs for them!

I like playing from this book because the songs range from novice to very difficult (AKA Angela the first song in the book) My favorite song is "he's a pirate". I use the songs from this book to impress my peers. If you like pirates of the Caribbean you will like this book and the CD that comes with it.

Als Geiger:in kommt man ja doch nicht drum herum: Irgendwer wünscht sich irgendwann Fluch der Karibik von einem. Nun gut.Das vorliegende Heft ist warscheinlich das, was man von einem Disney Lizenzprodukt zu diesem Preis erwarten darf... und das ist nicht viel. Die Bearbeitungen sind okay aber auch irgendwie inkonsequent. Zwar werden hier und da auch mal Doppelgriffe eingebaut, beim ikonischen "He's a Pirate" (wie man es von dem bekannten, hübschen blonden Geiger kennt) dann aber nicht. In die Lagen geht es selten. Wie gesagt okay, aber ich werde mir noch ein bisschen was dazu bauen.Die Begleittracks sind leider ziemlich schlecht. Natürlich ist nichts echt, alles aus dem Computer. Meistens annehmbar, manchmal fürchterlich. Auch sind manche Stellen einfach schlecht arrangiert. Warum muss bei "Jack Sparrow" die Melodie die ganze Zeit von einem Solo-Cello mitgespielt werden? Das mache ich als Geige doch dann schon.Fazit: Lizenzprodukte sind im Notenbereich meist teuer und nicht besonders gut. Dieses Heft ist leider keine Ausnahme. Und die gibt es!

Super livre, les classiques de pirates des caraïbes. En revanche pas pour les débutants (nécessité de démanché dans quasiment toutes les partitions)

These are very good arrangements. CD accompaniment is not too fast. Intermediate (Grade 4) to advanced (Grade 8) players will enjoy them a lot. Fun to play along with and reminisce scenes from the excellent films...ah arrh me hearties!

I ordered this book because it is advertised to include a CD. When the book arrived today it actually says 'audio access included' and gives a code to input into the internet. This is not what I want and not what I ordered - a CD version is what is advertised and what should be sold.
