**Q: Can this also clamp onto a seat post rather than the top tube?**
A: Yes you can clamp to the seat post so long as there is four inches of seat post above the top tube.  I can on my bikes but not my wife's.  Her bike only has three inches between the top tub and the bottom of the seat clamp.  The clamp rotates easily and quickly from any position between vertical and horizontal and is just under four inches wide.

**Q: Where are these manufactured? USA? Tiwan? China?**
A: On the box it says made in Taiwan.  If you are asking because you trying to get an indication of quality, this thing is really well made.

**Q: Could it securely hold a 48-pound eBike securely?**
A: The description says, "Total load capacity of 85lbs (39kg) accommodates service on most road, cyclocross, mountain bikes, and electric bikes" and other reviewers have stated it holds their ebikes which are heavier than 48 pounds.

**Q: Will this repair stand clamp properly on the horizontal tube on a trek fuel ex 8 29er?  the tube is fatter than most bikes.**
A: I have one and it works fine.  The clamp opens pretty wide.  I'm looking at a photo of my trek fuel 8 on the red ultralight stand. I just can't figure out how to attach the photo here.
