Rod is not made of hardened steel. will bend!!

These else be great beam clamps if the threaded rod was hardened steel. I bought 4 of these beam clamps and all 4 threaded rods bent. I am unable to use these clamps any longer. I was only lifting a couple thousand pound steel I beams
