Looks beautiful! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy *by T***N on March 29, 2024* Definitely shake it well before trying to use it. I’ve used Briwax liming wax and I like that the thinner consistency of the Amy Howard Brand allows more control and subtle results than the Briwax. I strongly suspect that thinning the Briwax with its solvent would produce similar results. I prefer the less glossy, natural looking patina that I easily achieved with the Amy Howard to the thick, waxy look of the Briwax. I turned a 1910 five panel door into a headboard and I didn’t want a glossy look, so I wiped the wax off of the original, more porous wood after about ten minutes, rather than the thirty minutes recommended. The new wood that I was able to match to the original is a different species, oddly enough and is a smoother, less porous surface that required a much longer set time for the wax to achieve a reasonable match. I’m very pleased with the result, but I had to experiment on scrap to get there. I didn’t really notice the size of the bottle when I ordered it for 21.00 plus shipping.
