Great for cleaning electrical contacts
Bought for electronics repair, great for cleaning electrical contacts and removing PCB coatings to repair tracks. Was using a cordless Dremel but this is much more precise.

Quite good but not perfect
The media could not be loaded. Advantages:1-The size of the main engraver is compact. You can hold it with ease and comfortable. You can do minor engravings easily too.2-The outlook is good. The colour design give you a high-tech feeling.Disadvantages:1-Without a plastic box to hold all the parts and accessories.2-The power is a little bit weak even it is turned to the most powerful level. So it is not suitable to do hard material engraving nor big size engraving.3-The battery inside the engraver pen cannot be easily change. This mean that when the internal battery get old and die, this engraver pen will become rubbish.

Engraving tool
A nice little kit, I use mine for pcb trace repairs and so far much better than my old one. Holds a charge nice and easy to hold and use.

Barely works on finger nails
I purchased this for carving wood on days out, better to carry a rotary tool then a very sharp fixed blade or pen knife. However it barely works on finger nails so don't think it could handle wood and probably metal engraving is impossible. On a positive side if you have issues using a normal nail file this will do the job. It may also work on plastic model kits.Saying that I wish I'd used the money on a more suitably rotary tool made for carving wood.Very disappointed and a waste of money.

Works a treat ,almost
I thought it was using vibration which would have been fine for me .As a drill its pointless butter would send it into the red! But as a micro file its ok if it could rotate even slower it would be better but for scraping small areas on pcbs etc its fine.

A little disappointed
This engraving pen (Brand: Darbermu @ £21.99) is a very neat, and a very well made unit. But the instructions that come with the unit state that it is 10 watt with speeds of 5000-18000 r/min, NOT 25watt with speeds of 5000-25000 r/min as stated on the Amazon "About this item"(Note: The same unit is described correctly under the Brand: Efanty @ £27.99)Also although not mentioned, the engraving pen takes 3/32" (2.381mm) shank bits and drills.Although lacking the power and speeds I was expecting I did not return the unit as it is adiquate for the light work I have in mind.

Very handy and easy to use.
I love this product, as a crafter/artist I use many mediums for my art. This little tool has helped to expand my skills particularly with my clay Angels. I am only learning and this helps so much.
