Firstly there are warnings that messing about with microwave ovens can be dangerous as there is a risk of electric shock from the undischarged capacitors even when disconnected from a power source. Extreme care needs to be taken by unqualified DIY’ers. The bulb on our Dunelm microwave failed so after a bit of searching I decided on this bulb fitting as a replacement. It surprised me that this requires a complete unit consisting of bulb AND holder which I discovered to my cost when removing the failed one, thinking it would simply unscrew like an oven or cooker hood bulb. It shattered in my hand causing cut fingers so again care needs to be taken here as well. There are many variations out there of bulb fittings but this one being 25 watt was the one I decided on being of the same power. Removing and replacing the unit was fairly simple and straightforward. Although, at nearly £8, more expensive than some, it’s well worth it for a reliable unit that worked straight away.Update 13/03/24: When another purchaser raised the question of whether I got a 20 or25 watt bulb I checked and found I actually got a 20 watt bulb which does work albeit less bright but it’s not what I ordered. Why they offer 20 and 25 watt but only send 20 watt is slapdash but not worth returning. I’ve therefore reduced the 5 star rating to 4.

It's a light bulb. This was an easy fix for me to replace the failed bulb in my Panasonic microwave. As an electrical engineering graduate I was well aware of the potential dangerous charges stored in capaacitors so i steered well clear of those. The trickiest bit was bending the tabs holding the old light bulb in, and then again to hold the new bulb.

Worked fine when first purchased, however failed after 2 months of use. Most positive reviews are in the first couple of weeks, I’m leaving a review after 2.5 months. Not good, zero stars

Prodotto imballato correttamente ed arrivato nei tempi previsti.La lampadina in questione risulta leggermente più piccola dell'originale ma cmq nella resa non si direbbe, fa una buona luce all'interno del microonde.Le alette della lampadina sono posizionate in modo diverso rispetto all'originale ma nulla di trascendentale, le ho piegate un po'.

Encontrar repuestos para electrodomésticos a veces parece una lotería. Compras una bombilla "universal" y luego resulta que el conector es un milímetro más ancho o que la rosca no entra. En este caso, ha sido una grata sorpresa: encaja como un guante.Tengo un microondas que ya tiene sus años y la bombilla original (una Z187) pasó a mejor vida. Pedí esta con cierto miedo, pero la compatibilidad ha sido total. La base, los conectores en ángulo y el tamaño son exactos a la original. No he tenido que forzar nada ni hacer inventos raros; abrir la tapa, quitar la vieja, poner esta y listo. En dos minutos tenía luz otra vez (vigilad al manupular los microondas, ya que puede ser muy peligroso y si no sabes lo que haces te puedes jugar la vida, va en serio).La iluminación es correcta, un blanco cálido de 25W que permite ver perfectamente cómo gira la comida sin deslumbrar.Ahora bien, le doy las 5 estrellas porque cumple su función hoy, pero mantengo cierto escepticismo con la durabilidad.Mi experiencia con estos recambios (que no son la pieza oficial de la marca del microondas) es que a veces se funden a los pocos meses debido a las vibraciones y el calor del aparato. De momento la construcción parece sólida y el filamento se ve bien, pero es algo que solo el tiempo dirá.Puntos fuertes:- Compatibilidad perfecta: Si tu bombilla vieja pone Z187 o tiene la base en forma de T con los agujeros planos, esta te va a servir seguro.- Instalación sencilla: Entra suave y los conectores hacen buen contacto a la primera.- Luz agradable: Tono cálido idéntico al que traen los microondas de fábrica.Puntos débiles:- Incógnita de vida útil: Es el talón de Aquiles de estas bombillas. De momento va perfecta, pero estaré atento.Conclusión:Si se te ha fundido la luz y buscas una solución rápida sin tener que llamar al servicio técnico, esta bombilla es la solución. Funciona y encaja, que es lo que pedía. Si aguanta más de un año sin fundirse, será una compra redonda. Por ahora, muy contento con el resultado.
