I've a large garden surrounded by tall dense hedges which is full of birds nests so I've a lot of birds to feed. I originally bought this food as I've Robins and they love it. If you look closely at the second photo you'll see one of them. There's a good variety of seeds in this tub so theres something for all the birds. I live beside the sea so theres a lot of seagulls which tend to swoop down and eat anything that's thrown out. I feed the seagulls any other larger birds out the back wheres there's lots of room for them to eat but the seed for the smaller birds is spread along the hedge outside my kitchen window so I can watch them eat. Although the bird food is placed in one part of the garden the birds from the other hedges don't take long to appear to get their share of the food. At this time of year the birds often take the food into the hedges to feed their babies so I make sure they're well fed. I also feed them mealworms and crushed up fat balls. I'm in a wheelchair so I can't get onto the grass so a family member distributes the food along the hedge. We always put a lot of seed out so it does the birds for a couple of days. Each morning I look out I see them back pecking for more as they love it so much. Based on watching the birds devouring this food day after day I'd recommend it.

Just what I wanted.

The birds love this great quality seed. Unfortunately, what should have been a 5 star rating lost a star because of the flimsy, broken packaging that left seeds scattered everywhere. The lid and base were both cracked and the plastic was clearly too thin to support the weight of the seeds.

The item is absolutely fine,unfortunately the driver didn’t follow delivery instructions again so I’m going to delete my account due to this situation as it’s the second time I’ve had deliveries just dumped on my doorstep in full view of anyone walking by.

The amazon driver did not follow instructions to leave on the door step no phot to say it was delivered..really bad from the driver please make them aware

The feed comes in a large plastic sack which is fine but it is packed in a cardboard box which disintegrates in transit because it can take the weight, a nylon sack would be better and help when lifting and carrying the seed.
