I have followed Jude Currivan’s writing and insights on “the big picture” — of Creation, the Universe, and our roles and places in it — for many years now. Of her many books, my favorites are The Wave, CosMos: A Co-Creator’s Guide to the Whole-World and now this one, The Cosmic Hologram: In-formation at the Center of Creation.Like CosMos, I couldn’t put this book down. I felt so excited…alive again…reading it. Her knowledge (genius) and insights are simply brilliant. Her writing is elegant, eloquent, and lucid with even the most complex science and ideas. Currivan gives us the gift of ‘seeing’ — realizing and fully appreciating the miracle our lives truly are on this magnificent planet…Universe…CosMos. How thrilling as she helps us fully comprehend the role that each of us plays in creating reality and the in-formation and evolving consciousness making up the Cosmic Hologram.I was particularly captivated by her re-envisioning the “big bang” into the more elegant and apt “big breath”. It resonated with me because my own spiritual awakening has in the last years also centered on the breath as the sacred marker of life itself.As she says, this book “…reveals scientific evidence that In-formation is Reality, Mind is Matter, and Consciousness Isn’t Something we Have, It’s What We and the Whole World are.”If you’re looking for an exciting, uplifting read…this is it!

The insight, intelligence and clarity of Dr. Currivan is remarkable, refreshing and relevant in this manifest that explains the Science of Unity. This is a life's work, and in her previous book, Cosmos, you can see the ideas unfolding. I purchased this book primarily because of Dr. Currivan's credentials as a scientist. The first part of "The Cosmic Hologram" lays out a more-or-less scientific argument that everything in the universe is continuously and instantaneously connected to everything else through a holographic effect. There is deep connection between thermodynamic entropy and information, wherein everything that is "real" actually emerges from information stored on a 2-dimensional holographic surface. That surface does not exist within 4-dimensional space-time; instead, it is a virtual surface from which space-time is simply an expression or projection of the holograph. Holography is shown to be an extremely efficient process for storing data.The salient point Dr. Currivan makes is that information, also known as entropy, is fundamental. Space, time, energy and matter are derived from information. These ideas are actually supported by 21st-century cutting-edge science. Refer to Erik Verlinde's work on gravity and inertia as being emergent properties tied to entropy. Unfortunately, I found a few of Dr. Currivan's positions to be logically inconsistent. For example, she fully supports the first law of thermodynamics, which states mass-energy is constant over time. And yet according to the second law of thermodynamics, entropy increases over time. Thus, if mass-energy is derived from ever-increasing entropy, then it seems that the first law cannot be valid on cosmological scales. The holographic universe can be thought of as being equivalent to a black hole. According to Bekenstein's model, the information on the 2-dimensional surface of a black hole is equivalent to the mass-energy contained within it. Thus, the only way universal entropy can increase is if universal mass-energy increases. I think this discrepancy needs to be cleaned up. One way is to invalidate the first law of thermodynamics on cosmological scales. A number of physicists, notably Paul Dirac, have proposed cosmological models where the total mass-energy increases in proportion to the square of time since the big bang. As a consequence, Newton's gravitational constant, G, is not a constant; instead, it is inversely proportional to time since the big bang.Dr. Currivan maintains that the laws of nature are emergent, yet they are finely-tuned and inviolate at the same time. Yet she points out that the electromagnetic, strong, and weak forces were once unified as a single force, but they no longer are, which seems to contradict the position that the laws governing those forces are finely-tuned and inviolate. Also, there is clear evidence that time-displacement symmetry is approximated over fairly short time intervals, but not over cosmological scales. According to Noether's theorem, the conservation of mass-energy wouldn't apply if time-displacement symmetry were violated.The second part of the book delves into spirituality and mysticism, which are well beyond the reach of the scientific method. Although these areas may be intriguing, I think delving into them diminishes Dr. Currivan's credibility as a scientist. She would have been better served by explaining the scientific basis for the cosmic hologram in more depth, an area in which she is certainly well-qualified.I highly recommend this book despite its shortcomings. Dr. Currivan explains very difficult material in a clear manner suitable for a general audience. I think the book would have been even better if there were some illustrations and diagrams instead of just text. I don't know if the printed book is illustrated, but the Kindle version isn't. Also, some of the characters (Greek letters) weren't rendered properly on the Kindle.

Cosmic Hologram is a very difficult read for me and the average person, however I am a very enthusiastic supporter of Jude's work. I think this book is written for the highly intellectual, scientific minded person but it's exciting to me that she can represent this mysterious topic with such exquisite intelligence. It's time for us all to see that we are all connected, divine human beings capable of so much more than we currently know.

Jude Currivan's book may be looked at by our future history books as a truly seminal and transformational work. She brilliantly brings together the latest science to persuasively show the reader that we live in an interconnected cosmic hologram. This perspective has the potential to quite literally change the world by recontextualizing what it means to be human and how we fit into the universe. This is a critical work in light of the turbulent climate in which we find ourselves.I highly, highly recommend this fantastic and important book!

this is one of the most enlightening books I read in the last years. Jude is breaking ground at the merge of scientific cosmology with acient spiritual teachings. And she reflects, what it means for life as we know it.

This is an extremely well researched and thought provoking work which covers scientific developments over several decades and beyond. The author explores developments in various multi-dimensional fields of science from Astro-biology, to Cosmology to physics and across many disciplines. The main premise is that the cosmos is connected information, our reality is comprised of thoughts. From an evolutionary perspective the author concludes that it's highly likely that the once discredited theory called Panspermia, [Sir Fred Hoyle/Chandra Wickramasinghe ] now following a number of more recent discoveries, is in fact a highly probable explanation - namely that the original simple molecules which sparked life came from outer space - and were contained in carbon, found in inter-stellar cloud dust or comets or meteorites crashing on earth billions of years ago. As such we are indeed 'seeded from outer space' and to quote the much missed Stephen Hawkins -'.... look up at the skies, not down at your feet.' The author also looks at super-normal abilities such as precognition, telepathy, premonition and how the conventional materialistic prevailing world view makes it difficult for many people to acknowledge/accept that these abilities genuinely exist. Jude Currivan reveals the latest scientific research shifting the old mind set as it were to prove that super normal abilities are very real. Jude has a background in science , and business so she's very grounded but equally very spiritual and has experienced psychic dimensions from a young age. She's a member of the Evolutionary Leaders Circle along with others such as Deepak Chopra - the aim of this work is to break down barriers between science and spirituality - and the Evolutionary Leaders Circle aim to help us all evolve to a higher level of consciousness - connect with our spirituality I guess - it reminds me of some of the key underlying themes in the metaphysical crime novel 'Spirit of Prophecy' which is also available here on Amazon. What is really needed going forward is to break down the barriers between the difference scientific disciplines and indeed incorporate a spiritual dimension, to facilitate working together and collectively gaining a better understanding of life, the universe and everything. This work takes a great step in that direction....
