Some athletic shoes I own fit a little too snug but the next size-up would be way too big. These super thin socks help my shoes not feel so tight and are comfortable, durable and just plain feel good on my feet. They work for me.

I ordered these in the medium, large and extra large. I am a 70-year-old with sensitive, easily irritated skin. I were a women's size 8 1/2-9 shoe, and the medium was too small. I chose these socks because I don't want a seam across the top of my toes and was looking for a thin sock. Even though there is no seam, the medium was very tight around my toes, so I tried the other sizes as well. The large are perfect for my feet (the extra large too big). I did not return them as the shipping cost was not worth it to me--I'll be donating the mediums and extra larges to a local thrift store, and I'm sure some lucky person will be glad to have them.I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 because, even with the good fit on the large, they feel pretty warm after wearing them for a day in my leather walking shoe. I have since ordered a different brand made of mostly cotton from another seller (SOK Men's Ankle Phantom Lo Cut No Show) and they are softer, feel cooler in my walking shoes, and have no seam across the top of my toes--very comfortable.

These actually fit nicely, I was surprised. However, for some reason these make my feet stay sweaty much more so than the other Wright Socks I have.

Clings to your foot but is not uncomfortably tight.

I have written several reviews for these socks because I keep buying them. They are the most comfortable socks I have ever worn. They never slip off the heal. I always wash them in cold water, gentle cycle and air dry them, so they last a very long time. I now have them in white for my light grey shoes. Although they cost more than other socks, they are well worth the extra money.

Love this sock - great fit and thin weight. Only downside is that a hole develops somewhat quickly in comparison to other socks I have. Guess that's because they are pretty thin. I still buy them anyways because they're my favorite sock, period.

Absolutely perfect for what I wanted. I have Scarpa rock climbing shoes and you always order them a little smaller, so it is not only a little painful to wear, but you have to take them off after each climb and put them back on, so since they are so tight taking them and putting them on bare foot is an undertaking.I needed something to reduce the friction, but still provide the solid contact of foot with the shoe. These did the trick. I feel barefooted, but no chafing and shoe comes on and off in a couple seconds.

These are great socks. They're generally the only kind I buy anymore. They're expensive, and you can buy two pairs of them bundled together a little cheaper elsewhere, but they last a long, long time - years. They don't chafe my feet, they keep them warm in the winter (inside the house), and they're tiny and easy to wash.
