6" Thermometer Indoor with Humidity Gauge - Wall Thermometer/Hygrometer for Home Decorative, Updated Analog Dial Temperature Humidity Monitor for Room Temp

I bought this unit because all the digital units I have purchased from Amazon have failed after a few visits to my gym's steam room. This unit has outlasted all the digital units for use in the steam room - going on 4 months while all the digital units failed after two weeks or less. The digital units may be good for other uses, but apparently they cannot take the near 100% humidity of a steam room. This unit is working fine. Like the digital units, it takes a few minutes for it to show the current temperature when it is 30-40 degrees F different from the prior temp - give it some time to adjust. I like that the numbers are large so I can read it through the steam!

After more than a week on the job inside, both the thermometer and hygrometer are working well. Humidity reading was initially very high and I thought it was wrong, but it went down as the unit warmed in the house. I tested it outside and the temp and humidity readings were within a reasonable range of the official local weather report. I was also pleasantly surprised that the unit has a a simple built-in table stand. I would buy it again.

Big enough to read across the room. Small enough to blend in with any decor.

Unsure how precise - so accuracy is a question. Looks good, humidity reading helps. Good quality- durable.cute.

It didn't get to the right temperature even though I set it out on the patio in non direct light for two days. The opening on the back to hang it was ridiculous! It couldn't possibly hold a nail! It was not a true keyhole where the inside was larger than the outside, guaranteeing that the nail would stay in the back. What were they thing, making the hole l8ke that? I am very disappointed!

After reading many reviews/comments with a variety of Thermometers, I chose this one, seemed to fit my needs. Accuracy was key and this worked well. I read the directions (minimal - not sure why it wouldn’t work) so overall 5 stars - Ease of use, Accuracy and a good value. We hope for long term use : )

This is nice but the hanger slides up in the back in order to hang it on the wall. It does not look good. All they had to do was to put a hole in the back and it would have been easier to manufacture. Now I will kave to drill a hole and hope that it does not damage it inside
