**Q: Can I use this as a protective layer on a wooden children (18 months) pickler triangle/slide? Would it be in any way slippy for her to slide down?**
A: Shellac is only suitable for indoor projects. With that said once cured it should not be too slippery.

**Q: Would this be suitable to seal an unfinished wood coaster? Birch wood.**
A: I used it for wooden coasters made from other hardwoods recently. Worked well and has a good look to it.

**Q: Can this be used on wood floors?**
A: Shellac is not a good finish for surfaces that are exposed to water or subject to heavy wear.  There are much better choices for wood floors.
