Compact and Beautiful
Others here discuss the translation of this version of the Bible, so I'll just describe its physical qualities. The publishers obviously set out to make a nice product and they've succeeded. The cover is made from an Italian material that looks and feels like real leather, and it flexes with the pages inside, which makes it comfortable to hold. The edges of the pages are gilded, and there's an attached ribbon to mark your place. The book was intended to be of a compact size, so the publisher understandably had to make a couple trade-offs. The typeface is quite small. I can read it with my glasses, but I might find it easier to read with a magnifier. And the paper is a thin onion-skin type. In-between the paragraphs, you can see a faint image of the printing on the reverse side of the paper peering through. I don't have a problem with that, and appreciate the books compactness and light weight.

Great Translation, good binding...
I am surprised by the features in a general Bible that isn't a "study Bible".....there are some useful notes, and a decent index. This is the Byzantine Text Type, so similar to the KJV and NKJV in Translation. The binding holds up well, too.

Nice but small font
Very nice Bible but the font is very small. If you have limited vision this Bible is not for you

I really enjoy this translation
I really enjoy this translation. The cover had a nice sturdy feeling. Pages are a bit thin so highlighting will be seen on the back of the page. The font, though I do need reading glasses, for this bible there is no need to use them. Thank you God bless.

Good text size
Good text size, not too big but not small like the economy ones either. I love the feel of it and that it’s light and easy to carry.

The leathers texture looks and feels good in the hand
The leathers texture looks and feels good in the hand, slim, easy to carry around or study with. Decent print size with no bleed through. Great bible. As far as translation just depends on the user. I use multiple translations and it's all about the same, just get one that you understand without forcing to interpret.

Certainly ONE of the worst, if not the worst translation in the last Century
The committee who produced this translation has nothing to be proud of. Rather, they should be ashamed. First, to use the Textus Receptus as a basis in the New Testament is willfully ignorant or dishonest, but even worse, is making those who use this version subject to the same ignorance. Every error of the KJV was 'faithfully'(?) preserved in this disgusting work. If you want a modern language version of the King James at least get one by reputable scholars that dealt honestly with the text. Try the ASV(1901) ERV(1881), the RSV, the NRSV, the NASB or something like that. Don't waste your time here. This group had no intention of enlightening anyone. How sad if not pathetic. For modern times one would expect modern scholarship too.
