A good budget UL pack
This is a decent lightweight backpack for the money. I'm sure there are better ones on the market that cost much more. Pros: very light, plenty of pack space (for UL), seems to be durable. Cons: shoulder straps aren't very comfortable, no mesh back pocket. If you are looking for a good UL pack on the cheap, this might be a good choice, however, if you are willing to pay a premium price, you will find better packs, so keep looking.

Seems Good so far!
So far seems like a good backpack. Reasonably priced and holds a fair amount. It is lightweight as advertised and I'm giving a 4 instead of a 5 rating because I am not yet sure of it's durability.

Wow it really is water proof.
I was impressed with this for the price and weight. I really like that it folds into a pouch. It holds quite a bit and it is lightweight to wear. Great for a shopping trip down town or a weekend in the woods. I've only used it once but it seems strong enough with enough little compartments. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality for the price. I can tend to load them up so the lightweight is a bonus and it folded back up really nicely which I really like. It doesn't take up too much room in the closet. I can't see how anyone would be disappointed with this unless your carrying 10 big hard back books. I don't think it would take the beating my son put on his school back but it would be fine for everyday use if it wasn't too loaded with super heavy books with sharp corners. A couple with a few electronics would be fine. It being water proof in our area is a big bonus. I spilled water on it and it and it wiped right off, it actually repelled it and only felt a little bit damp and didn't get the contents wet. I don't know what would have happened had I not quickly dried it. I don't think I'd trust it in a torrential down pour with a computer it in without extra protection. You would need that any way due to it being so thin. I would definitely recommend this backpack.

A great deal
I bought this backpack over a year and a half ago because I was intrigued at how lightweight it was. After using it on one day-hiking vacation, we bought a second one so my husband could have one, too. It is so much less weight to carry around than a standard daypack, and it is holding up well. One thing I miss is not having a dedicated space made to insert a Camelbak water bladder and spout. However, I still use the Camelbak by just sticking it in one of the generic inner pockets of the pack, and it has worked fine for me. I also wish the pack had a waist belt. However, having something this lightweight is more important than having a waist strap.

It's perfect, extra storage if needed
It's perfect, extra storage if needed. Nestled nicely with my bug out bag. Folded up it doesn't take up needed space, but available just in case.
