Bought this for a 4 year old birthday gift. She loved it. It has a collection of books which are pretty durable (each of a different princess) so they can read with a grownup. However the added bonus are the little princess buttons that will read to them. A good buy not a bad price.

Busy parents rejoice! This is so fun for little ones! My daughter is 5 and my niece is 4 and they both learned how to use the reader in about one try. After that, they sat and listened to several books in a row. I like that I can also read the books to my daughter without having the e reader and that keeps little hands from distractedly touching buttons during reading time.

So cute! My daughter was able to figure out how to use without me even showing her. She loves to listen to her princess stories. This would make an excellent gift.

I love this reader device! This is actually my 2nd purchase. The only thing I don’t like is that the pages are read up and down then back up and down on the reader device. I understand this is for toddlers with tiny hands but makeing a little wider instead of longer reader so that they can read left to right would be helpful. Just drives me crazy but once my 3 yo figured it out she loves it. Actually it has replaced her playing with my phone 👍🏻 My daughter was pretty rough with the first reader device and it did eventually stop working but it with through a lot before it crashed. Kind of wish you cld buy just the reader device but I was fine getting a new one with different books.

I’m genuinely sad by all the negative reviews! We absolutely love this! My daughter is not reading yet and these are perfect for her because she controls when each page is read and presses the button for the corresponding page. This is much better than books on tape which keep reading along even if you’re still working at turning that page. It also cuts out the need for a CD player for a book on tape (well... CD. I’m getting old). It’s really unfortunate that some of these reviews are bad. If the company is fixing the issue then this is definitely worth purchasing even if it takes a hassle to get the right one.

As an Aunt to one niece, I was honestly just looking for a couple of small extra things before Christmas. I'm big on getting books/other educational stuff. Apparently the kiddo loved it. Brother and SIL went on a road trip with her shortly after the new year and they said it kept her occupied in the backseat for the 8-hour drive both ways, and that she even likes to take one or two with her to "school". Definitely gonna check for what other titles they offer.

My toddler loves this. Every night she wants me to read story after story to her. Now, I'm able to read one story to her and then she is able to "read" these stories by herself until she falls asleep. The electronic reader is small and light weight and so easy to use. It enables non-readers to read independently!
