Q: Do you think you could drill a hole in this and turn it into a tree topper?

It is quite heavy and thick surprisingly. I was expecting a cheap plastic thing. The jaw is also detached from the head. You probably could but it's heavy so maybe only on a fake tree?

Q: could you fit an echo dot inside the skull?

The skull is a single piece, but if you were willing to cut an opening, it could fit inside.

Q: What is the size of the eye holes?

I placed a cherry tomato in each eye holes and they fit well with room to spare. If that helps at all.
