May not look the same as the factory part that broke but it does work.

My Whirlpool Cabrio lid lock mechanism had been acted up for a couple of years. I could ususally jiggle the lid or reset it and get it to work. It finally quit for good. I'm always a little leery about buying these cheap foreign knock off products. However, if I bought it from WP it would be about 5 times the price and take 10 days or more to arrive. Long story short...It works perfectly and it was easy to install. There are lots of Youtube videos to help with installation. Anyone can do it. I can't speak to the durability since it's only been a couple of months, but there has been no issue so far. For this price you could buy an extra one to have on hand.

Does what it is designed to do. Good replacement for OEM. Time will tell if it holds up.

This worked perfectly better than the oem part

Works great I was replacing the w10059230 on the cabrio machine throwing the dl error code. This part looks nothing like the original part but it does fit and works great!
