Very good instrument with basic instructions and performs really well. It is accurate, handy and easy to have to hand magnetically attached to my cooker hood. Easy to keep clean and the light button feature is nice to have. Equally, if you need to test liquids and food matter it will give you the readings clearly displayed. I have Achromatopsia with visual contrast sensitivity, where I can read most screens except those at self-service supermarkets. Nicely packaged and one AAA battery included, not those unfriendly and dangerous for children, button batteries. A good price and looks like it will last some time. We have to take a gamble every time when Vine reviewers lie. Not something you can buy from a supermarket and good luck finding one on the high street.

Very happy with this ThermoPro food thermometer. It gives quick, accurate temperature readings, which takes the guesswork out of cooking and helps get meat cooked just right every time. The display is clear and easy to read, and the thermometer feels sturdy and well made. One feature I particularly like is the built-in magnet, which lets me stick it straight onto the fridge when not in use. It keeps it easily accessible and means it's less likely to get lost in a kitchen drawer. Simple, reliable and great value for money. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone who cooks regularly.

A good price and well-packaged. We bought this based upon all the favourable reviews as a spare to replace our existing unit from another supplier. The TempPro unit is good, but doesn't respond nearly as quickly as our existing unit. Something to bear in mind if you are checking the temperature throughout a large piece of meat or multiple steaks. You have to wait for the probe to heat up to the internal temperature of the meat and settle over a few seconds, then after withdrawal, wait several more seconds for the probe to cool before inserting in the next position/piece of meat.

I compared this to the meater thermometer which was in situ when cooking a tomohawk steak and a medallion (as pictured - medium rare). The response was quick and accurate. I tested again when cooking a duck leg using a digital thermo scan. Again, same readings in approx 0.5 seconds. When not in use, the probe tucks away with a great advantage, it's magnetic! So it sits on the side of the microwave when in use.. there is also a simple guide on the rear for reference with cooking temps. It's also backlit and waterproof! I got this when it was on offer and it came with handy screwdriver and a battery. Even so, at normal price, it is still value for money and highly recommended!

Excellent. Easy to use and clean. Quickly takes the temperature and is easy to read. Really pleased I can now measure the temperature when cooking meat of fish. Should have bought one ages ago.. I am so impressed have bought one for my daughter too.

You can tell right away this is a well-made thermometer — it feels solid and good quality from the start. Temperature readings are precise and consistent. I compared it side-by-side with my Meater and also with the Ninja Outdoor XL's included thermometer probe - and the results were very close. Yes, it’s not Bluetooth, but honestly, for the price difference, I don’t miss the “leave it and walk away” feature. I’d rather save the money and still get accurate results. PROS: 1. Feels well built and durable + water resistant so it's easy to wash it. Backlit display is also helpful if you are cooking outside in the evenings. 2. Precise, accurate temperature readings, with both Celsius and Fahrenheit options. 3. Precise temperature readings, same as with more expensive thermometers. 4. Has even a cheat sheet behind with cooking temperatures for good results. CONS / TO NOTE: Not a real con, but to note that it’s fast, but not instant — you need to hold it in place for a few seconds while the temperature climbs before it settles. In my experience if you keep it outside in cold weather and stick it into a chicken breast for checking - it will take more than advertised 3 second to climb up to the actual temperature. But you can leave with this in my opinion. Overall, a reliable, no-nonsense thermometer that does exactly what it should. Excellent value for the price. Can definitely recommend it. We’ve been using this TempPro thermometer in our chippy and it’s been excellent. While it’s not the fastest on the market, it’s quick enough for our workflow and gives us accurate readings every time. The waterproof rating is a real bonus in a busy kitchen It handles all the splashing and grease without any issues. Solid build quality and it’s held up really well to daily commercial use. Great value for money and perfect for any food business that needs a reliable thermometer. Highly recommend.

I like red things. I have a red car. I have red sunglasses. And I needed a meat thermometer and this one's close enough to red (it's everso slightly orangey) that I chose this one over the others. At the end of the day, it's a food thermometer. Stick it in the meat, it gives a reading on the LCD display that tells you the temperature of the meat. It feels good quality, it's waterproof so it's easy to clean under the tap, and the little hook allows you to hang it on the end of the barbecue or the pan rack above the oven, and it's even got a magnetic back so you can use it to hold your kids' drawings on the fridge door if you really want to. It folds up neatly so it's easy to store safely and you can switch the temperature between celsius and fahrenheit and the display is backlit like an old Timex watch so you can see the screen as the evening light fades and you're sipping your wine rather than keeping an eye on the barbecue. I'm sure there are others out there that can bluetooth to your phone so you can sit with your mates and wait for the meat to reach temperature, but they're clearly more expensive and honestly where's the fun in that. I prefer to stand on my own at the barbie while the April showers drizzle on me and the family's inside watching Britain's Got Talent.

The pen is very accurate, My cooking has dramatically improved now that I can measure precise temperatures. However, what will keep me buying from this brand is their after sales service. The first one failed a few days after it came; It was replaced. No questions asked. About a year later, the second one began to show erratic temperatures. They only asked for a photo and replaced it again. I have signed up for the three-year warranty also. Look at it this way. It's more expensive, but the cheap one will fail a few months later. This one will last you years. If it fails during the warranty period they will replace it. Go for it.

This is a very good thermometer for the price. It works exactly as intended and gives fast, reliable readings. I’ve compared it side by side with my Thermapen ONE, and while it’s not quite in the same league, the accuracy is surprisingly close and more than good enough for everyday use. I mainly use this one at work during staff BBQs at the factory, especially when cooking chicken. It gives me confidence that the food is properly cooked and safe to serve, which is important as undercooked chicken can be a serious health risk. The backlit display is handy, and the pop-up probe design makes it quick and easy to use. Overall, it’s excellent value for money, reliable, and accurate enough for grilling, BBQs, and general kitchen use. Very happy with it.
