I’ve tried many Nespresso-compatible capsules, and these are definitely one of my favorites. The coffee has a rich, bold flavor with a smooth crema and a delicious dark roast taste. The intensity is perfect for anyone who enjoys a strong espresso without excessive bitterness. The aluminum capsules fit my Original Line Nespresso machine perfectly and brew consistently every time. ★★★★★ I bought these Café La Llave pods because I became obsessed with the Café Cubano and Bucci from Cuban Coffee Queen in Key West. There was only one problem: I DON’T LIVE IN KEY WEST. That felt unacceptable. Enter these glorious little green capsules of Cuban rocket fuel. I pop one in the machine, add the sugar, work a little coffee magic, and suddenly I’m no longer standing half-awake in my kitchen. I’m in Key West. There are chickens walking around. It’s 87 degrees. Someone is wearing flip-flops who absolutely should not be wearing flip-flops. And somewhere in the distance I can practically hear someone yelling: “BUCCI!” This isn’t morning coffee. This is liquid motivation with diplomatic ties to Cuba. One minute I’m barely functioning. Three sips later I’m reorganizing the garage, answering emails from 2019, pressure-washing something that wasn’t dirty, and considering starting another business. My wife doesn’t ask anymore, “Did you have coffee?” She asks: “How many Cubanos have you had?” That’s a completely different question. Two of these and I can hear colors. Three and I know exactly what every drawer in my house contains. Four and I’m pretty sure I could swim to Key West and pick up the real thing. Are they exactly the same as sitting at Cuban Coffee Queen on vacation? Of course not. But until Amazon figures out how to Prime-deliver Key West, sunshine, a rooster, and a Bucci, these little bastards are staying on subscription. Five stars. I ordered espresso pods. I received a tiny green portal to Key West.

so i know this coffee because i have a cuban friend. he turned us on to this brand. he’s obsessed with it. he always brings it camping and brews it with a percolator. yumm. its so darn good. its as wonderful as illy. i have purchased a few different off unfamiliar brands off amazon trying to find quality knock off pods. and, its hard. some are soso but most fall short. name brand means something when it comes to espresso. so i decided to splurge and get these expensive pods. they do not disappoint. i shared with family and they agree. its delicious. i bought a manual travel coffee machine to bring with me when camping or weekend sleep overs. i used the llave espresso pod camping and ahhhh. it was a good morning. the coffee really made a difference compared to using instant espresso. this is a winner. its a luxury coffee. i cant find it in stores not even the beans. if you see them they are worth picking up if you love espresso. this is exceptional espresso. high quality doesn’t begin to explain how this superior this brand is. it’s definitely my absolute favourite over ALL pods i have discovered in north america. and ive tried a couple dozen now. europeans will love this one.

I will be returning both boxes. These pucks in this brand do not taste the same as the regular coffee. The taste is significantly lighter.
