TG-GD6T60028 Front Bumper Guard Compatible with 2016-2023 Tacoma | Textured Black | Light Mount | Bull Bar

I'm not sure why some people had such a hard time installing this bull bar. I have a 2019 Tacoma Off-Road and it took a little patience, but the installation was pretty easy. It seems very sturdy and still looks good after 4 months with no trace of rust. I am satisfied with my purchase. Now for me it is time to find new tires and am surprised that the factory tires are 70's and not 75's. I'm opting for the taller tire.

After looking at several youtube videos found that you must take off the front grill for easier installation. Otherwise there are 2 pairs os screws which are practically impossible to take off from the bottom. There's also some cutting required. You have to cut off a piece of the mud guard and also the air guard that sits below the bumper has to first be taken off then you have to either leave it off or cut 2 wholes for the bars to go through it. Once you get through that 3rd step, everything is supper easy to put together. The rest of the instructions are very detailed, plenty of pictures too. The bar ultimately hangs from the actual metal bumber, so it it VERY sturdy (I'm 170 pounds and I can almost jump on it). Looks awesome too. The last con, if you live in a state where the front tag is required, this bar will block it. So you will have to take it off and put it on the bar. The tag takes away part of its appeal, but no other choice.

BullBar wasn’t that hard to install on my 17 Tacoma. No air dam to cut into. I was able to tighten the top one of the two frame nuts from the top through the grill without removing the grill since you can reach them through a passage. A 14 mm ratchet wrench did the trick. Included directions are clear and visual. Frame bracket lined up nicely. This install Can be done in less than 2 hours. Bar is very sturdy.

First of all product looks great. However the instructions should have a step for taking out the grill and air scoops on each side (as they are very easy to take out and put back in) as this made the first brackets MUCH easier to put in. Other than that was pretty easy. Also if there was information on the size lightbar that could be put on it I did not see it and lucked out in buying one that fit but was anxious as to if it would or not.

Fit on my 2011 Tacoma with no issues. The instructions stated that I had to remove my skid plate to install it, I did not have to. The instructions took a little to figure out but once I did, it came together pretty smoothly. Really gives my truck a more aggressive look. Only drawback, the spec sheet says it can hold up to a 22 inch light bar, that depends on the height of the light bar, I have an 18" one on there now and it is almost touching the top bar where it angles down, so you may want to do a little measuring before you spend $100+ on LEDs, this doesn't take away from the look, so I'm still giving this 5 stars.

I installed the Bull Guard 10 days ago and so far so good! The quality of the guard is very nice and it looks to be pretty tough. however, if you are involved in a collision with this thing, it will bend back against the bumper and make a lot of damages. But anyway, these bumpers are plastic and meant to be destroyed in case of an accident. The installation was easy and a second pair of hands is very helpful. In order to make the installation easier, I do recommend removing the Grille to get better access to the bolts and to be able to tighten them better. For those of you interested in knowing if the bar could be installed with the Toyota aftermarket skid plate( PT212-35075 ), yes, it fits perfectly, at least it does in my 2015. But I removed it at the end because it looks better without it. I posted a photo with the skid plate mounted. Update: Feb 19 2019 New Photo. The Bull guard is holding very well, but the color of mount brackets have faded a little.

I ordered it on free shipping I still got it in like 2 days. The brackets and supports are of a really good quality. The design of the actual bull bar is nice. I have nothing to really complain about, was definitely worth the buy. I installed on a 2016 Tacoma took a little while to figure out because a bit of cutting was required but once figured it out was easy to install the whole process took a lil longer than 2 hours. If you get this product I highly recommend taking off the front grill of the car to install.

I love the look of my truck with this bull bar and I also bought the matching running boards. Very solid and cool looking. Install was pretty simple except for the first part of putting the bracket onto the bumper. Was a pain to tighten bolts due to no room. Only took me about 2 hours or so to complete though. Only bad thing I have to say is, the bull bar came out of the package with a few blemishes on it. Other than that, I love this product!

Love the look supper happy so far.
