My house still had the original exhaust fans in both bathrooms from when the house was built in the mid '90s. They were noisy, they didn't work very well, and one of them eventually died. I own several other AIDOT products, all of which work great, so I figured I'd buy their exhaust fans to replace the original ones in the house. I wasn't disappointed. The fan is really quiet, it exhausts moisture and odors very well, the light is very bright, and it was really easy to install. I was pretty intimidated about doing the work myself at first, but the instructions were easy to follow and it took very little time and effort to swap these in. I even installed the rail/bracket that goes between joists, which they suggest using on new construction for some reason, because I felt it would be more secure than just screwing the housing to a joist.

Context: We remodeled our master bath and picked this out for our replacement to our old, noisy ceiling fan. Pros: - Multiple light temperature settings. - Fan is quiet. - Price was fair in comparison to other brands. - Subjective: it looks very modern and sleek. - Wires clearly marked; sped up installation. Cons: - Installation hardware to mount the fan box to the joists is cheap and difficult to work with. I ended up using the old metal frame from the previous fan box. - Fan cover is ever so slightly undersized for your standard cut out. I ended up using aluminum tape to seal between ceiling drywall and fan box. - Every now and then, the light temperature is wrong. It appears as though turning the light on and off too quickly can enter the light into a “temperature selection.” Not sure how this happens or if it’s a failure of the digital chips in the light. Overall: 4/5; There were some disappointing aspects like the mounting hardware and fit, but overall I would purchase this again. Pros far outweigh the cons.

Very quiet and works great. Installation was straight forward and simple. When I initially turned the fan on I was expecting an immediate start, but there is a coast up period. Only a very short duration, but I believe this will extend the life of the fan. Good engineering.

As advertised this exhaust fan is amazingly very low sound. And love the ease of operation to change the light settings. I highly recommend this product.

Mounting brackets are only on one side so I had to bend a bracket to attach to stud, so now I don't think I can return it. Instructions are not very descriptive. Read through the whole manual before trying to install. Fan not very powerful. I let it it run for quite awhile and put my hand up into the fan and barely felt the air circulation. I don't have a big bathroom and this did practically nothing to get the moisture out after a shower. I had the modify the bracket, I don't think I can return it. I do like how light weight it is, how it looks, and the light is bright. Unfortunately, it won't work for me.

Works great, extremely bright and exhaust seems decent. Recommended for the price! Purchased to replace an 1980s Broan Nutone 3 setting heater/fan/light combo. Had to do alittle rewiring, slight drywall, frame & duct work. Overall was fairly easy to install. I redid my own frame/studs & did my own mounts so the installation could be completed inside the fan housing and not require access to the attic. To make it easy for replacement & future proofing. Since its already known that these newer appliances & electronics arent built the same like before.

This was the worst purchase I have made. It was very difficult to put in, and I have put in loads of fans, but managed to get it all put up and appeared to work, very quiet, thought it was fine. Then after I’d thrown away the box my daughter took a long shower and that’s when we discovered it did not work AT ALL !! Does not extract the moisture from the air at all, and was better just to open the door. I literally waited for 60 mins to see if the moisture from her shower would disappear but alas no. This fan is ABSOLUTELY USELESS!! Will have to throw it away once I get another one put in as I unfortunately did not keep the box it came in

Using this in the guest washroom and it blends nicely with the ceiling. Low noise and good light. You wot need any extra lighting in the washroom.

Works well, easy to install, very quiet, light is bright and perfect. Installation instructions were clear.

Had to replace the downstairs bathroom fan. More than satisfied with the fan. Very quiet, lots of draw as the fan was installed close to the shower, the light is an added bonus. Excellent buy.

The fit and measurments were as described and perfect for my existing hole. Old fan was 100 pcm and wasn t strong enough for my bathroom. This one at 110 pcm is perfect for my need. The light is a nice addition. Easy install with easy to follow steps. I never give 5*.
