Greetings all I bet you’re wondering if this item would be a good fit for your photography business, though I will say I got it on sale during prime day. I still think for the regular price it is totally worth the purchase. Having watched reviews online for the original Westcott eyelighter and the Glow curved reflector I figured I would buy one of these for my studio and on location portraits. Fortunately this version was on sale during prime day, and I figured I would give it a shot and if it didn’t would I would return. When I received I noticed that it had 2 solutions to the issues reviews mentioned on YouTube. 1.) The Westcott version was a slower assembly due to the screwing the poles at the end to each other, this version has no fasteners so 2-3 min saved from total assembly time. Also Westcott sells their version for double the price of the Neewer version. 2.) The Glow version does not have Velcro to quickly change the reflective surfaces so if you have a change of lighting due to clouds on location and had to switch from white reflective surface to silver to get more light, you have to disassemble and slip on the other reflective surface. Hopefully this review assists you to better understand your choices in the different versions of this product and why I believe this specific one has the best bang for your buck. Lo pedí con toda la ilusión del mundo, pensando “esto me va a dar una luz que ni los cielos de Islandia”. Pero al abrirlo… ¡zas! Faltaba una barra. Como una paella sin arroz: mucha tapa, pero no puedes montarla. 💡 Lo positivo (por salvar algo): El material parecía decente. Ligero, plegable, con buen rebote. La idea del combo difusor + reflector + tapa me parecía un puntazo. Ideal para exteriores o para bodas con sol cabrón. 🧩 Lo negativo (y no poco): Me llegó incompleto. Sin una barra, era como intentar montar una tienda de campaña con tres palos. El sistema de montaje, incluso con todas las piezas, no parece muy robusto. O lo tratas con cariño o acabas haciendo origami con él. Lo devolví sin pensarlo. Y ahí se quedó, en el limbo de los productos con potencial no cumplido. 📦 En resumen: si te llega completo, puede servir. Pero en mi caso, fue un “ni pa ti ni pa mí”. Le faltó una pata… y a mí me sobró decepción.
