VIVOSUN VS1000E LED Grow Light with Full Spectrum Diodes, Sunlike Plant Light for Indoor Plants Seedling Veg and Bloom in 2x2/3x3 Grow Tents Greenhouses

Update after ~6 months of use: This light is great, my only complaint is the light could be more dispersed, it's concentration is center biased a lot. I have this in a 2' x 4' grow tent with 2 Carolina Reaper pepper plants in DWC hydroponic buckets, originally I had it paired with a blue/purple type from a well regarded brand. After approx 4 months of growth, both plants would noticeably grow towards this light over the other type even when I would swap what light was over what plant. I have since replaced the other style light with a second copy of this light and both plants are happier, both plants have 50+ flowers and around a dozen fruits growing. I also modified both lights by de-mounting the power supply from the light and de-soldering the very short wire that connects the power supply to the LED board and adding in a 4' extention so I could get the power supplies out of the tent so they wouldn't get as hot or heat up the tent so much, and so I could get the LED board as close to the roof of the tent as possible because the plants are growing so profusely. I also got some aluminum heatsinks and thermal epoxy off Amazon and glued the heatsinks to the power supplies to help them run cooler, I'm really not joking when I say they get hot enough to be too painfully hot to touch for any more than a second or two. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Super bright, nice and lightweight. The driver gets too hot to touch after running for a little bit, so make sure all cables are well clear and it's not too close to the top of a grow tent. Either get this light near an air intake or exhaust port in a tent or set up a small fan to cool the driver off, otherwise I fully expect it to cook itself in a year of use.

I originally bought the two pack of these lights for my pepper plants. They arrived on time and in good packaging. After less than 30 days, one of the lights quit working. I reached out to customer service on a weekend and immediately got a response. They asked a few questions and for some pictures which I answered and sent them. They refunded half of my purchase the next day and I purchased another light. The lights are exactly as described and have definitely made a difference in my pepper plants compared to the other ones I had been using. I highly recommend and will purchase these again.

No dim feature. No on/off switch. Ad on Amazon page was updated on 10/15/2025 and no longer mentions being dimmable. Outside of this, the light is immensely bright and put a smile on my face as well as a slight tan.

This system is very bright and is well built. You can feel the quality. It is a good size and accurately covers a 2X2 ft space. It gives off little heat but is actually helpful for my temperature needs. It comes with all needed hardware for mounting and is hight adjustable . I LOVE THIS LIGHT! I highly recommend it.

This light is amazing, very bright doesn't create an excessive amount of heat *as it is not meant for that* so that's great. It is a 2x2 ft area coverage which is accurate. If you have a bigger space you use to grow you definitely will need a bigger size or just 2 of the 2x2 lights. Set up is easy but I would recommend buying the hooks thay you screw into the ceiling as it would make it 100000x easier more than already is. Definitely will continue to buy from vivosun

Mixed bag with this one. The good is that it is clearly well made and I like the pulley system. It gives off very bright light with a large area that will definitely be sufficient for my needs. Unlike a lot of reviewers who are growing "medicinal" plants in their basement in a tent...you do you, I'm using mine for veggie and flower seed starting on top of a dresser. The bad: No on-off switch. This means that every time I want to turn it off, I need to unplug the unit, which is awkward. Between that and the fact that there's no timing feature, I'm going to need to pay for an external timer to plug it into, or maybe set it up on my smart plug if I can find it in the depths of my closet. The product says it comes with an extra set of hangers...it doesn't...and that's false advertising. The documentation in the product box lists additional items as included, such as some sort of protective glasses, which aren't in the box. The listing doesn't advertise those, so I wasn't expecting them, but it was really confusing. Instructions also show a dimmer feature that isn't available on this model...again, confusing.

The Vivosun VS1000E is Impressive. High Quality craftsmanship, components, light weight and innovative design, combined with low heat output makes it perfect for small spaces or supplimental lighting where you need it. The Samsung LM281B+Pro Diodes provide full spectrum coverage and excellent penetration..Very Happy with this light.

Fairly lightweight full-spectrum light, very bright! Comes with several adjustable corded hangers to position it over your plants. It does put off a bit on heat, so I've added some stick-on heat sinks to help keep the unit a bit cooler; hopefully it should help with the lifespan of the light. It's bright enough that you don't want to look at it directly, and our plants seem to be very happy with the amount and spectrum of the light. I just saw where they have one with a fan built-in; I think I would go that route should I need a second one :)

Amazing grow light, however the driver does get quite hot so using a fan on it will help lower temps however with that it’s a amazing led grow light

I’ve been growing with these leds in my bedroom and my citrus, hibiscus, orchids and gardenia/jasmine also I’ve grown citrus seedlings so basically any plant I’ve put underneath seems to enjoy the light, they get a bit hot but oh well, I just wish there was a way to not get blinded by them but I guess that’s what I get for hanging them in my room

I've used this now on two long grows in my Vivosun tent and it's worked amazing. Excellent yield in my harvest.

Great light panel , very bright, do not look at it when first turning it on, was like a flashbang in my eyes , disappointed that mine didnt come with the hangers though , only the pullys . still recommend it
