Caveat Emptor
These curtains are the exact same curtains, sold for far less, as the Eclipse brand. ($12 here on Amazon.) They are all made by Ellery Homestyles, which is what mine were labeled as when I opened them. For what they are, I am not pleased with this purchase, as I paid $250 for what should have cost me $50. However, after the effort involved in hanging them, steaming out the wrinkles, and evaluating their performance - I don't feel like going through the hassle of returning them, and purchasing a better set. They have made no discernible difference in the amount of outside sound coming through the window that they cover, though their light blocking seems to work pretty well. At the end of the day it is my fault for not doing better research before making a purchase. Hopefully you don't make the same mistake I did.

They don’t do what they are suppose to.
Very disapointed. The curtaind does not do what it’s suppose to do. The don’t block sun 100%. When sunlight is directly to the curtains, it goes througt. Also they don’t even block 1% of sound. It is the same noisy enviroment if you open or close the curtain. I bought lot of pairs, I washed them as instructed and they shrink. So I needed to buy more, and surprise, the new ones are shorter than the curtains that I bought at the begining, and now the are short for windows. Very very disapointed, they are expensive, and now I will spent more money buying new curtains for all my windows, besides of all the money that I already spent. 2 stars just because they are beatiful, but this is not important if they don’t work.

HTPC theater point of view...
I'm specifically reviewing the black versions. These curtains are well made and the length and width are accurate. I see NO light passing through the curtains. So, with those regards, the curtains are 5 stars. The issue I have is with the ability to absorb light from a projector and the color of the material. I'll admit, the page doesn't mention the ability to absorb light and I only ordered one panel to test. The black velvet is more of a dark gray and the absorption of light, while good, is not great, hence the 4 star review.I also ordered some triple black velvet raw material (not curtains) from an online seller and the difference is extreme. The material is VERY black and is a light sponge.

Extreme creases won’t iron away.
These curtains are exactly what I need. They look great and block every last photon of light. However it is very unfortunate that they have been damaged by the packaging process. They were packed so tightly that they are crisscrossed with deep creases and wrinkles. I let them hang for several weeks hoping they would go away. They didn’t. So I took them down and spent a couple hours ironing them. (a task I wasn’t expecting, and hate) The ironing reduced the wrinkling slightly, but it is still bad. But the iron also discolored the material. Now I can see the iron marks in addition to the creases. Photo is after they’ve hung for about a month and been ironed.

Great! Bought a second one!
Love this curtain! I just bought a second one as well. Both from the "Used - good condition" list, at a good price & they both seem brand new! I'm guessing people get them and then just realize they aren't going to fit their particular windows.Light blocking is 100% for me (I sized up so there is plenty of material passing the framework of my window on all sides). The material is thick and plush feeling, it's nice to pet. I was looking for a heavier type curtain to help with noise, ect. so I'm pleased... but if you want something billowy then this isn't for you.The white foam sprayed on backing is done well - it's smooth and seems like it will hold up over time... but not to a laundry machine! Personally, I would never use hot water or a dryer or a hot iron, on this type of curtain. This would be a gentle cold cycle and line dry item, or maybe dry cleaning. The original packaging wrinkles fall out relatively quickly after hanging, so I didn't have any problems there.

Highly recommended for audio/video rooms
I purchased these blackout drapes in the past and just added a few more. Thick buttery soft velvet and total blackout. Since the material is heavy, it really helps cut down on any echo in your home theater room. I put them in my dryer (has a steam function) and wrinkles went away. Highly recommended for audio/video rooms.

OK if you can get them for a good price
Let me start with the pros:- Nice material that feels luxurious- Colour (Stone Blue in my case) is true to the product images- The thermal backing does help keep heat outCons:- While the curtains themselves are pretty much blocking all light, you'll always get some light bleed on top and around the edges- They are quite heavy and that could be an issue depending on the length of the curtain rod- Despite the claims, they do not help block outside noise - believe me, I've lived in one of the noisiest apartments and they did not make a difference. At least when it comes to traffic or other noise from a busy street corner

Buena Calidad, mal embalaje o contenido

Product looks cheap
I thought for this price I would get some solid quality felt curtains. They look like cheap crap though made of 100% polyester on the front they say and would subtract from my home theater when hung on the walls though. I'll be using them as temporary carpets when an actual movie is being played since they seem to work well enough for their intended purpose at least. I can't speak to their light blocking from windows capability as this is in a windowless basement living room I'm using them in (rumpus room). Also, I ordered black and it's definitely not as dark as the black around my projection screen and looks kind of green. I'm extremely disappointed as my friends agree they would look bad hung in my home theater.
