Easy to install. Great price and it works well too.

Installed this on my 2006 2500HD 6.0 Vortec with an 8' bed to try fixing the EVAP system solenoid code I had. I needed to run my own hose, as this does not come with the permanently attached hardline that the OEM one does (I knew this). Ran my own hose, installed the solenoid, code no longer appears.

My ‘04 Chevy Silverado 1500 with a 4.8 L V8 was a hard fill that became impossible to fill at the pump. Threw a P0449 code and so after some internet research ordered this part. Fixed the problem immediately for a tiny percentage of what a shop would charge, and was able to change myself without specialized tools. Did have to cut the original plastic hose because it is heat shrunk onto the canister at the factory. Put a 4” piece of 5/8” heater hose for the connection with clamps, all done. Took about an hour from start to finish. Quality product for a great price.

Despite the site saying it doesn’t fit your truck. Trust the YouTubers. It DOES fit. It was an easy fix (took a few minutes to cut a small section off the barb of the old one, but went right on to the new one (I did use a hose clamp to secure it but as YouTube said…you don’t need it). 10 minute fix at most.
