It does feel weird when you are used to the spiky gimbals, you also can push further without changing your hand's grip on the radio. It is not the case with this umbrella end stick, in order to move the stick to you have to move your hand. At this point it's more of a preference. However, one positive thing is your thumbs don't get dented and poked by the traditional gimbals. It is also less itchy. If session usage is long I will use these gimbals, otherwise, short test, I will use the traditional gimbals.

I got these for my spectrum remotes that I use for flying and I really like them. I have big hands and therefore my fingers and thumbs are large as well. I like these because I make more contact with the sticks and my thumbs don’t slip off as they have in the past. They are super easy to install and make me feel like I’m in better control at all times.

Two different sets here, the wider 'umbrella' ones that are good for thumbs, give you a bit more control easier -- and then the narrower ones that can be pushed for pinching. Work good on the Dx6
