Quite the job installing this thing but it worked out great. Works as advertised.

Our ceiling fan is controllable by remote or Alexa etc.. via the Bond Home bridge (wall switch must remain turned on at all times). The fan stopped responding to both the remote and Alexa. I confirmed the power to the fan was available with a voltage detector, and deduced that this receiver module had gone bad. After only 2 years too, WTF. Hopefully this replacement module will last significantly longer. We love our fan though, and I'm glad I didn't have to buy a whole new fan at least. Once you replace the receiver in the fan housing base with this unit, you will need to add it to your Bond Home bridge through that app. Make sure the dip switches in the new receiver module are set to same setting in your original remote. You may need to re connect through Alexa or Google as well, I did, but your experience may differ from mine. But 20 minutes later, we are back on line.

great replacement part. once i diagnosed this part as being the problem with why my ceiling fan wasn't working. i easily found this part it was delivered on time and packaged properly. took about 10 mins to complete install very simple just had to twist on a few wire nuts and put fan back together. problem solved fan works fine and for the price you just can't beat it.

I have never tried one of these. I bought a fan that said it was remote ready so I was curious. I bought it and installed it. It is a little tricky to get it and all the wires finagled into the fan body. I really like it. A bonus is that you have 9 fan speed settings. The high/med/low of the pull chain are each divided into high/med/low with the remote. You can really set your fan to a slow speed, which we enjoy. If you want the next level to always flipping a switch on the wall then this is the way to go.

Old receiver died. With most replacements, you had to also purchase a new remote unit. Since my remote was OK, this option saved me a few bucks. So far, working well. Just make sure you set the dip switches on the new receiver to match the old remote.

Easy to install and fixed the problem of the fan intermittently not powering on.

Installed the unit and it would not work! Removed from the fan and tested it on the workbench - It would only work when it was right next to the transmitter - move any further away and it would not operate. It is too late to return the unit as I was unable to get to the installation until after the return window closed. I tested it next to the old unit and the old unit worked 20-30' away (the old unit no longer reduced fan speed so it was time to replace)

The remote works great on the Allen + Roth Eastview ceiling fan. I had no trouble installing it on the top of the fan. Also had no trouble with the wiring connections.
