Elegant Romantic Rose Victorian Porcelain Teapot And Teacup Duo Beautiful Gift Item

I bought this teapot and teacup duo as a gift for my all time favorite manager and friend who was moving on to a different career. When it arrived I was truly amazed by its classic beauty. When I presented the gift to her she was very surprised, happy and grateful. She could not stop thanking me but when she opened the box and saw the elegant, fine masterpiece she was speechless. I went to her home a few months after she started her new job and this chic teapot and teacup duo was sitting as a center piece on her dining room table. It was just as sparkling and beautiful as when I first laid eyes on it. She said it is too beautiful to be used for anything else but art and I couldn't agree more. This beautiful Victorian piece should be and would be better used in a china cabinet or curio cabinet to enhance the decoration instead of the practical use for which it was intended.

This was beautiful! Loved the packaging and the tea set is perfect for enjoying yourself a nice cup or 2 of tea and just admire the teapot as you sip. It also looks great as pretty decor once stored on the shelf or counter. So happy with this purchase!

I am actually going to use the tea pot in a basket for a silent auction we hold twice a year to benefit our Food Back Pack Program that provides week end food for 350 food insecure elementary school children during the school year.

Pattern isn't painted or anything, but it's still quite cute. Perfect "for one" tea pot and tea cup. The pot has strainer holes on the inside so you're free to use full loose leaf tea, although I still suggest an additional "over the cup" strainer, as the holes are quite large and some leaves will get past.If you fill it right to the brim you can get two full cups from one pot, although I don't recommend that because you'll spill hot tea all down the side. Although this makes for awkward 'one-and-a-half' cups of tea kind of pot, it doesn't take much to simply be more careful measuring your water.The gold is painted on, so hand wash only! No hard scrubbies or scraping against metal. All in all a very pretty little couple!
